The Streaming area of LIGR Live is where you connect your camera feed, send it to the platforms your viewers watch on, and keep an eye on everything while you are live. It is for anyone who streams matches, from a single club volunteer to a league running several games at once. This page walks you through the whole workflow in order, with a link to a short guide for each step.
Streaming Part 1 Set Up Streaming from Scratch

Before you start
Your organisation needs the Streaming module. Highlights also rely on Streaming, so setting it up well now pays off later.
Have a match ready in the Matches tab. The usual setup order is Competition, Venue, Club and Team, the second Club and Team, then the Match.
If you want graphics on your stream, add an overlay to the match. Overlays need the Graphics module and are designed to work with LIGR streams.
Know where your video is coming from (for example, an encoder or camera that can send RTMP) and where you want it to go (for example, a YouTube channel).
How streaming fits together
Every LIGR stream follows the same simple path: an input brings your video into LIGR Live, the stream combines that video with your graphics and settings, and one or more destinations deliver the finished broadcast to your viewers.
Inputs and destinations are managed centrally in the Streaming tab. That means you set them up once and reuse them across many matches, rather than entering stream keys and URLs every game day.
For example, the LIGR Demo League might create one input for the camera at LIGR Demo Stadium and one YouTube destination, then reuse both for Harbour City (HCF) v Ridgeview (RVR) and every home match after it.
The workflow, step by step
1. Create an input
An input is the incoming video feed for your production, such as an encoder or another video source sending RTMP to LIGR Live. When you create an input, LIGR Live gives you the connection details to enter into your encoder. Give it a clear name, like the venue or camera position, so you can find it quickly later.

2. Manage inputs
Once you have a few inputs, you will want to keep them tidy. Here you can find, edit and remove inputs, and check which one is which before a match. Keeping the list clean makes it much harder to pick the wrong feed on game day.

3. Create a destination
A destination is where your finished broadcast goes, such as YouTube, a social platform or another RTMP endpoint. You add the details the platform gives you, and LIGR Live saves them so you can send any match there. You can send one stream to several destinations at the same time.

4. Manage destinations
Destinations change over time. Stream keys get reset, channels change and old platforms stop being used. This guide shows you how to update and remove destinations so your saved list always matches where you actually broadcast.

5. Go live with the Stream Monitor
The Stream Monitor is your control page for a single match. You can preview the feed (WebRTC or HLS), choose the overlay from the dropdown, hide graphics, check audio, use Select All to set your destinations live, and press START STREAM. The red square stops the stream. The three-dot menu gives you Stream Settings, Stream Analytics, Match Notes and Open LiveScore.

6. Monitor everything with Multiview
When several matches are live at once, Multiview shows a tile for each live match on one screen. You can check stream status at a glance and filter by sport, competition, club, team or match to find a production fast. It is built for operational monitoring on busy game days.
7. Manage storage
Live streaming creates content, including match recordings, highlights and other media. The storage guide explains how to see what is using your space and how to keep it under control, so you always have room for the next match.

8. Use your Dashboard
The Dashboard is the first tab in LIGR Live and gives you an overview of your organisation at a glance. It is a quick place to check what is coming up and what needs your attention before you dive into the other tabs.

9. Customise your Dashboard
Every role uses LIGR Live differently. A gameday operator cares about today's matches, while an admin may want a wider view. This guide shows you how to set up your Dashboard so the information you use most is front and centre.

Tips and common mistakes
Set up and test your input and destination well before kick off, not five minutes before.
Use clear, consistent names, such as "LIGR Demo Stadium Main Camera", so the right input is easy to spot.
Check the preview and audio in the Stream Monitor before you press START STREAM.
Make sure every destination you need is selected before going live. A destination that is not selected will not receive the broadcast.
If a platform resets your stream key, update the destination straight away so the next match does not fail.
