Customise Your Dashboard

Turn on Edit Mode to add, rearrange and resize widgets on your LIGR Live Dashboard, then save your layout or cancel to keep it as it was.

Your Dashboard is the first screen you see in LIGR Live. You can choose which widgets appear on it, move them around and change their size so the information you need most is always in front of you. This article walks you through each step, from turning on Edit Mode to saving your new layout.

Turn on Edit Mode

All Dashboard changes happen in Edit Mode. While Edit Mode is on, you can add, move and resize widgets. Nothing is kept until you save.

  1. Open the Dashboard tab.

  2. Click Customise.

  3. Edit Mode turns on. The Dashboard is now ready to change, and the options for adding widgets and saving your layout become available.

Find a widget

Widgets are the panels that make up your Dashboard. Each one shows a particular type of information or gives you a quick way into part of the app.

  1. With Edit Mode on, click Widgets to open the widget list.

  2. Type in the search box if you already know the name of the widget you want.

  3. Or pick a category to narrow the list.

The categories are:

  • Live: widgets about what is happening right now, such as matches that are currently live.

  • Media: widgets related to your video and multimedia content.

  • Fixtures: widgets about your matches and schedule.

  • Activity: widgets that show recent activity in your organisation.

  • Analytics: widgets that show figures and trends.

  • Shortcuts: widgets that take you quickly to areas of the app you use often.

Browsing by category is a good way to see what is available if you are setting up your Dashboard for the first time.

Add a widget

  1. Find the widget you want in the list.

  2. Click the plus next to it.

  3. The widget is added to your Dashboard.

For example, add Live Now if you want to see at a glance which matches are live, such as Harbour City (HCF) v Ridgeview (RVR) in the LIGR Demo League. Repeat these steps for each widget you want to add.

Arrange your widgets

Move a widget

Click and hold a widget, then drag it to a new spot on the Dashboard. Let go to drop it in place. The other widgets move to make room.

A common approach is to put the widgets you check most often, such as live matches and upcoming fixtures, near the top so you see them as soon as you open LIGR Live.

Resize a widget

  1. Hover over the widget you want to resize.

  2. Click the arrows that appear.

  3. The widget changes size. Larger widgets have more room to show their information, while smaller widgets let you fit more on the screen.

Save or cancel your changes

When you are happy with your layout, you need to save it. If you leave without saving, your changes are not kept.

  • Click Save Dashboard to keep your new layout. Edit Mode turns off and your Dashboard shows the widgets in the order and sizes you set.

  • Click Cancel to throw away your changes. Your Dashboard goes back to exactly how it was before you clicked Customise.

You can come back and click Customise again at any time to make further changes.

Tips and common mistakes

  • Remember to save. Your layout is only kept after you click Save Dashboard.

  • Use Cancel to experiment. If you want to try a different layout, go ahead. If you do not like the result, Cancel puts everything back.

  • Use search when the list is long. Searching is the quickest way to find a widget if you know its name.

  • Keep it focused. A Dashboard with only the widgets you actually use is easier to read on a busy match day.
