Overview
Match Center and Stream Monitoring are two separate interfaces in LIGR Live that serve different purposes during a broadcast. Match Center focuses on match events and highlight management. Stream Monitoring (available in Multiview and on the Stream Monitor page) is where you start, watch and control your stream. Knowing when to use each one keeps your broadcast running smoothly.
Match Center Purpose and Features
Match Center is accessed from the Matches section by clicking "Match Center" from a match's Actions menu. It displays a live stream player for all active streams in the selected match, a real-time timeline of all match events as they are logged (goals, cards, substitutions, period changes), generated highlights that appear in the timeline as they render, and filtering options to display specific event types.
Match Center is where you review highlights immediately after key events, tag them for organisation, download them, edit them, and share directly to connected social media accounts. It can also be accessed for completed matches in the Completed tab.
Stream Monitoring Purpose and Features
Stream Monitoring is available in two locations: the Streaming tab (Multiview) for viewing multiple streams at once, and the Stream Monitor page for each match's stream, opened from the Matches section.
The Stream Monitor page is where you start, watch and control the stream for a match. It includes:
Start Stream and Stop Stream. The stream takes about two and a half minutes to start up, then shows as live with how long it's been on air. Stopping the stream stops its destinations too, and you can start it again any time.
Input card. Shows whether the camera feed is coming in. Details shows the address and stream key to send the feed to (RTMP or SRT), plus frame rate, resolution and region.
Player. Shows the program output, with WebRTC for a fast preview or HLS for a stable one.
Stream control. Pick an overlay to put graphics on the stream, or switch on Hide graphics to take them off. Set the input and overlay audio, mix left and right, or mute a channel.
Destinations. Use Select destinations to choose where the stream goes, switch a destination on to send to it, or use Start all and Stop all.
Auto stream toggle. Starts and stops the stream on schedule.
Timeline along the bottom. Shows when the stream and the input were live.

When to Use Match Center
Use Match Center when you need to monitor match events as they occur in real-time, review and manage highlights during or after a match, filter events by type to find specific moments, combine multiple highlights into compilation videos, tag highlights for organisation, or share highlights to social media immediately after events.
Match Center is focused on match-event visibility and highlight management, not technical stream monitoring.
When to Use Stream Monitoring
Use Stream Monitoring (Multiview or the Stream Monitor page) when you need to check the camera feed is coming in, find the address and stream key to send your feed to, watch the program output, choose and switch on destinations, adjust audio during a broadcast, put graphics on the stream or take them off, check when the stream and input were live, or start or stop the stream and its destinations.
Key Differences
Match Center does not show input status or input details, destination controls, audio controls, the stream timeline, or the buttons to start and stop the stream.
Stream Monitoring focuses on the stream itself rather than match events and highlights. If your camera feed isn't arriving or a destination isn't receiving the stream, use Multiview or the Stream Monitor page rather than Match Center.
Accessing Each Interface
To access Match Center, navigate to the Matches section, find your match, click the three-dot Actions menu, and select "Match Center".
To access the Stream Monitor page for an individual stream, navigate to the Matches section, expand the match, click the three-dot action menu next to the stream, and select "View".
To access multi-stream monitoring (Multiview) instead, click the Streaming tab in the left-hand dashboard. The Multiview page then displays all active streams.
Overlay Controls Location
Overlay controls are in the Stream control area of the Stream Monitor page, not in Match Center. Here you can pick an overlay to put graphics on the stream, or switch on Hide graphics to take them off. Both change what every viewer sees.
If you need to change the overlay on a stream or hide graphics on a LIGR-hosted stream, use the Stream Monitor page. It is one of the main places where you can change which overlay a stream uses.
