Stream Configuration Settings

STREAM TEMPLATE (OPTIONAL)

Select a template created in Competition Settings to auto-fill all settings below. Templates are pre-configured at the competition level and save time when creating multiple streams with similar configurations.

STREAM NAME

Give your stream a descriptive name such as "Main Camera" or "Field View". This name helps you identify the stream when managing multiple streams for one match.

STREAM INPUT

Select an input from the dropdown. Inputs must be created in the Streaming tab before they appear here. CRITICAL: A stream cannot start without an input assigned. This is the video feed coming into LIGR Live from your camera or streaming software.

STREAM SIZE

Choose your output resolution:

* 1080p

* 720p

DESTINATIONS

Select up to 3 destinations where this stream will be sent. Destinations must be created in the Streaming tab first. Common destinations include YouTube, Facebook, and custom RTMP/SRT endpoints.

OVERLAY

Assign an overlay to this stream if an overlay already exists for the match. The overlay is the graphics package that displays on top of your stream - scoreboards, player names, statistics, etc.

IDLE IMAGE

Upload an image to display when the stream is idle - before the match starts or after it ends.

FRAMES PER SECOND

Set the FPS for the stream output. This determines how many frames per second the stream will broadcast at.

VIDEO BITRATE

Set the video bitrate. Higher bitrate means better quality but requires more bandwidth.

REGION

Select the server region closest to your physical location for best performance.

INPUT STREAM VOLUME

Pre-configure the audio level for the incoming video feed.

MIX INPUT AUDIO CHANNELS

Toggle on to mix left and right audio channels together.

MUTE INPUT AUDIO CHANNELS

Mute the left or right audio channel if needed.

START OVERLAY AS HIDDEN

Toggle on to prevent the overlay from appearing automatically when the stream starts. If enabled, you'll need to manually show graphics from the Control Room.

Auto Stream Settings

Automate when your stream starts and stops:

Stream Start

Set the stream to start X minutes before the scheduled match time. For example, set it to start 5 or 10 minutes before kickoff.

Go Live

Set destinations to start sending X minutes before match time. This controls when your stream actually goes live to platforms like YouTube.

Stream Stop

Set the stream to automatically stop X minutes after the match ends.

Highlight and Recording Settings

GENERATE HIGHLIGHTS

MUST be toggled on if you want highlights created from match events. If this toggle is off, no highlights will be generated regardless of other settings.

AUTO-PUBLISH HIGHLIGHTS

Toggle on to automatically publish highlights to connected social media accounts the moment they finish rendering.

STORE MATCH RECORDING

Toggle on to archive a full recording of the stream. NOTE: This automatically enables if Generate Highlights is toggled on.

Completing Stream Creation

After configuring all settings, click CREATE to create the stream. The stream is now added to your match and appears in the expanded match view with its configuration details visible.

The stream will not start automatically after creation - streams remain idle until explicitly started. You must either start the stream manually from the Stream View page or configure Auto Stream settings to start it automatically at the scheduled time.
