Overview
You can configure stream destinations and overlay settings at the competition level so they automatically apply to all new matches created under that competition. This saves time by eliminating the need to configure streams and overlays for each individual match.
When adding streams and overlays at the competition level, you have two options:
* Create: Saves the stream or overlay to the competition only. Future matches created under this competition will automatically inherit these settings.
* Create and Apply to Unstarted Matches: Saves the settings to the competition AND also applies them to existing matches that haven't started yet.
How to Add Streams at Competition Level
1. Click Assets in the left-hand dashboard
2. Select Competitions
3. Select the competition you want to configure
4. Click Additional Settings
5. Select Streams and Overlays
6. Click Add New Stream
7. Fill out the stream configuration details (stream name, input, destinations, resolution, etc.)
8. Choose one of the following options:
* Create: Saves the stream to the competition only. All future matches created under this competition will automatically have this stream configuration.
* Create and Apply to Unstarted Matches: Saves the stream to the competition AND applies it to all existing matches under this competition that haven't started yet.
9. The stream configuration is now saved at the competition level
How to Add Overlays at Competition Level
1. Click Assets in the left-hand dashboard
2. Select Competitions
3. Select the competition you want to configure
4. Click Additional Settings
5. Select Streams and Overlays
6. Click Add New Overlay (if available as a separate option) or configure overlay settings within the stream configuration
7. Fill out the overlay configuration details (overlay name, ad type, watermarks, auto mode settings, etc.)
8. Choose one of the following options:
* Create: Saves the overlay to the competition only. All future matches created under this competition will automatically have this overlay configuration.
* Create and Apply to Unstarted Matches: Saves the overlay to the competition AND applies it to all existing matches under this competition that haven't started yet.
9. The overlay configuration is now saved at the competition level
Important Notes
* Settings configured at the competition level only apply to matches that haven't started yet. Matches that have already started cannot have competition-level settings applied retroactively.
* If you choose Create, only future matches will inherit the settings. Existing unstarted matches will not be affected.
* If you choose Create and Apply to Unstarted Matches, both future matches and existing unstarted matches will have these settings.
* This is called "adding at the competition level." Any future matches created under this competition will automatically inherit these stream and overlay settings.
