Getting Started with the Matches Table

The Matches table is the operational hub of LIGR Live. This is where you create, configure, monitor, and manage every match in your organisation from initial setup through to live broadcast and post-match review.

What the Matches Table Does

The Matches tab is where all your pre-match setup, live production, and post-match content come together. From here you can create individual matches or import full fixture lists via CSV, configure streams and overlays, monitor live broadcasts, control graphics through the Control Room, and access recordings and highlights after the match is complete.

The top of the page displays your organisation's remaining credit balances for Graphics, Graphics + Brands, and Stream + Highlights, so you can keep track of usage at a glance.

How the Matches Tab Is Organised

The match list is split into three views:

Live & Upcoming shows matches that are currently in progress or scheduled to start soon. This is your primary view on gameday.

Not Started shows matches that have been created but have not yet begun. Use this view to prepare and configure upcoming fixtures.

Completed shows matches that have finished. From here you can access recordings, highlights, and post-match review content.

Each match in the list shows key information at a glance including the competition, home and away teams, score, assigned scorer, stream status, overlay status, inputs, destinations, and a quick-actions menu.

What You Can Do From the Matches table

Create and import matches. Set up a single match manually or import an entire fixture list using a CSV file. Each match requires a competition, two teams, a venue, and a scheduled time.

Configure streams and overlays. Add overlays to get graphics on screen, set up stream inputs and destinations, and apply stream and overlay templates to save time across multiple matches.

Monitor and control live broadcasts. Start and stop streams and destinations, use Multiview to watch multiple matches at once, and open the Control Room to manage graphics in real time during a broadcast.

Manage matches in bulk. Use bulk actions to start, stop, or configure streams, overlays, and match settings across multiple matches at once. This is essential when you are running a full round of fixtures simultaneously.

Search and filter. Find specific matches quickly using the search bar and filters at the top of the match list.

Access post-match content. After a match is completed, access recordings and highlights directly from the match entry.

Getting Started

If you are setting up your first match, work through these steps:

  1. Make sure you have created a Competition, two Teams, and a Venue in the Assets tab. These are required before you can create a match.

  2. Click Create Match and fill in the match details.

  3. Add an Overlay to get your graphics on screen.

  4. Configure your Stream inputs and destinations if you are broadcasting live.

  5. On gameday, use the match list to monitor status and open the Control Room when it is time to go live.
