Find your match in LiveScore

Log in to LiveScore at score.ligr.live, use the match tabs and Filters to find your fixture, and open it ready to score.

LiveScore is where you score your matches live, usually from a phone on the sideline. When you log in, your matches are listed and ready to open. This article shows you how to find the right match and open it for scoring.

Before you start

  • The match must already exist in the Matches tab of the LIGR Live app. LiveScore does not create matches. It only scores the ones your organisation has set up.

  • You need a LIGR Live account with access to the organisation the match belongs to. If you have the Live Scorer role, you go straight to LiveScore when you log in.

  • Use a phone or tablet with a reliable data connection. LiveScore runs in your browser, so there is nothing to download from an app store. You can save it to your home screen for quick access.

Log in to LiveScore

  1. Open your browser and go to score.ligr.live.

  2. Log in with the same email and password you use for LIGR Live.

  3. The home screen greets you with WELCOME BACK and your name. Your matches are listed below.

Each match card shows the competition name (for example, LIGR DEMO LEAGUE), both teams with their crests and short names (for example, HCF VS RVR), and the match status. A match that is under way shows a LIVE badge with the current period and clock, such as FIRST HALF · 15:00. Upcoming matches show when they start, such as TODAY or TOMORROW, with a countdown to kick-off.

Use the match tabs

Three tabs along the top split your matches by status:

  • LIVE & UPCOMING shows what is on now and what is next. This is the default tab, and on match day your fixture is usually here.

  • NOT STARTED holds matches that are scheduled but have not kicked off yet, including fixtures further ahead.

  • COMPLETED holds finished matches. Each card shows FULL TIME and the final score, for example HCF 2 - 1 RVR, so you can reopen a match and check what was logged.

Filter the list

If your organisation runs a lot of matches, the list can get long. Filters help you get to the right one quickly.

  1. Tap FILTERS at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Choose from the three filters: COMPETITION (All competitions by default), TEAM (All teams by default) and DATE (Any date by default).

  3. Pick a value, for example Harbour City FC under TEAM. The list updates to show only matches that fit.

  4. Tap FILTERS again to close the panel and get back to the list.

Open your match

  1. Tap the match card. The scoring screen opens.

  2. Check the teams and the period at the top of the screen before play starts, so you know you have the right fixture.

From here you are ready to score. The next article walks you through everything on the scoring screen.

Tips and common mistakes

  • Can't see your match? Check the other tabs and clear any filters first. Then check the match exists in the Matches tab, is on the right date, and that you have access to that organisation. Refreshing your browser pulls in the latest matches. See Troubleshooting missing matches and connectivity issues.

  • Check the fixture details. If the same two teams meet more than once, confirm the competition and date before you open the match.

  • Open the match early. A few minutes before kick-off gives you time to check the line-up and get the clock ready.

  • Agree who is scoring. Decide before the match who will run LiveScore, so the same events are not logged twice from two phones.
