Goals logged in the LiveScore app land in your Control Room within seconds. One click brings up the goal graphic with the scorer and the minute already filled in, so nobody has to type names under pressure. This article shows you how to find the goal, check it and put it on air.

Before you start
Your scorer is logging the match in the LiveScore app (score.ligr.live), and the match has been started there.
A goal graphic is in your Control Room with its context set to Goal Event. Without context, clicking a goal won't bring the graphic up. See Add context.
The Control Room is in Manual, so you decide when the goal goes on air.
How a goal reaches the Control Room
When your scorer logs a goal in LiveScore, for example a goal for Harbour City (HCF) against Ridgeview (RVR) at LIGR Demo Stadium, it lands in the Control Room straight away. Three things happen:
The score in the Control Room header updates.
The goal appears at the top of the Events tab in the left panel. The newest event is always at the top.
The goal carries its details from LiveScore, such as the team, the scorer and the minute.
This usually takes a few seconds. You don't need to refresh the page. Keep the Events tab open during the match so you can see each goal the moment it arrives.
Show the goal
Click the Events tab in the left panel, if it isn't already open.
Click the goal. The graphics list filters to the graphics linked to goals, and the goal graphic comes up already filled in, with the scorer and the minute.
Click Preview to check the details before anyone else sees them. Look at the player's name, number, team and the minute.
Click GFX IN to show it. The row gets a red outline and the graphic's name appears as a chip in the bar at the top of the Graphics panel. This tells you at a glance that it is live.
When you're done, click GFX OUT, or click the cross on the chip in the top bar.
After the goal, clear the event filter so you can see all your graphics again. Click the cross on the event chip above the graphics list.
Why it works this way
The goal graphic is linked to the Goal Event through its context. That link tells the Control Room which graphic belongs to a goal and which values to fill in. Because the details come straight from LiveScore, the graphic always matches what your scorer recorded.
It works the same way for cards and substitutions, if your room has graphics with Card Event or Substitution Event context. Click the event in the Events tab and the matching graphic comes up filled in.
Tips and common mistakes
The goal isn't on the Events tab. Check the scorer saved it in LiveScore and that the match has been started there.
Clicking the goal brings up nothing. The goal graphic needs Goal Event context. Edit it, open Context, set the type and click Update Graphic.
Wrong scorer or minute. The graphic shows what was logged. Ask the scorer to correct the goal in LiveScore, then click the corrected goal again before you put it on air.
Changing values while on air. If the graphic is already on air and you change a control variable, nothing changes on the live graphic until you click Update.
Always preview. A quick preview catches a wrong player before your viewers do.
Running in Auto. In Auto, the game plan runs graphics automatically and can show goal graphics for you. See Switch between Manual and Auto.
