A control room does nothing on its own. It needs to be connected to a match. You can connect it to a whole competition at once, or to one match.

For a whole competition
Every match in the competition picks up the control room assigned to its theme profile.
Open the competition and go to its Theme Profile.
Under Control Rooms, remove the current one if there is one, and assign the control room you want.

For one match: add an overlay
Open the match and click Add Overlay.
Select the Control Room you want to use.
Give the overlay a name.
Choose the ad type, background and watermark settings.
Click Create.
Change the control room on an existing overlay
In the Matches table, open the match, click Configure on the overlay, and pick a different room from the Control Room dropdown.
Open the Control Room
Click the ⋮ menu on the overlay and select Control Room. A new room is empty, ready for you to lay out.
