Overview
Inviting new users to your organisation allows you to grant access to team members, club administrators, or live scorers. This article covers how to add new users through the Permissions page, assign them roles, and ensure they complete the verification process before accessing LIGR Live.
Prerequisites
Before you invite a new user, make sure the following applies:
• You must be the organisation Owner to invite new users.
• You need the new user's name and email address.
• If you plan to assign them to a club, that club must already exist in your organisation.
How to Invite a New User
To invite someone to your organisation, follow the steps below.
1. Click the person icon in the bottom left corner, then click Permissions.
2. Enter the new user's basic details: their name, email address, and role (select their permission level).

3. If you're assigning them to a specific club, select the club and link them to it.
4. Send the invitation.
The new user will receive a verification email at the address you provided. They must click the verification link in that email before they can access the organisation.
Permission Levels You Can Assign
LIGR Live offers several permission levels, so you can give each new user the appropriate level of access:
Owner - Complete access to everything in the organisation including billing access, user management, and the ability to transfer ownership.
User - Complete access to the organisation except billing, user management, and ownership transfer.
Club User - Limited to managing their assigned club(s) through the Club Portal. Can update club details, manage teams, create ad sets, view analytics, access multimedia, and view matches. Cannot create matches or modify match settings, overlay settings, stream settings, or highlight settings.
Live Scorer - Access only to the LIGR LiveScore app. When a Live Scorer logs in, they are automatically directed to the LiveScore app and have no access to the LIGR Live dashboard.
Media Viewer - View-only access to matches and media content. Can view matches, access Match Centre or Match Recording, download highlights, adjust lead/lag on highlights, share highlights on social media, and download match recordings and other media. Cannot assign media to competitions, rename assets, or modify any settings.

What Happens After You Send the Invitation
Once you've sent an invitation, the process continues as follows:
1. The user receives a verification email at the address you provided.
2. The user must click the verification link in the email.
3. Once verified, the user can log in and access the organisation based on their assigned permission level.
Verification Email Issues
If a new user hasn't received their verification email, first check their junk/spam folder, since verification emails often end up there. Next, mark emails from LIGR as safe to ensure future delivery. If the email still can't be found after checking spam, contact support via the chat function in the bottom right of the Help Center.
To prevent future email delivery issues, mark LIGR emails as safe in Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail (MacOS), or iCloud Mail.
Tips
• Verify email addresses are correct before sending invitations - typos will prevent users from receiving the verification email.
• Warn new users to check spam folders for verification emails.
• Start users with the minimum permissions they need and upgrade if necessary.
• Use Live Scorer for volunteers who only need to track scores.
• Use Media Viewer for social media teams who need content but shouldn't modify settings.
• Use Club User for club administrators who manage their club but shouldn't control matches.
• Reserve User level for trusted team members who need operational control.
