Overview
Live Scorer users are automatically redirected to the LiveScore App when they log in instead of accessing the LIGR Live dashboard. This is expected behavior, not an error. The Live Scorer permission level is specifically designed to grant access ONLY to the LiveScore App and nothing else.
If a user needs access to the LIGR Live dashboard, their permission level must be changed by the organization Owner.
Why Live Scorers Are Redirected
The Live Scorer permission level is intentionally restrictive by design. It prevents accidental changes to your organization's settings, assets, or streaming configuration by limiting the user to match scoring functionality only.
When a Live Scorer logs in, the system recognizes their permission level and automatically directs them to the LiveScore app at https://score.ligr.live/login. They cannot access the LIGR Live dashboard.
What Live Scorers Can Access
Users with Live Scorer permissions can ONLY:
* Access the LIGR LiveScore app
* Capture match facts during live matches
* View and edit match history for their assigned matches
What Live Scorers Cannot Access
Users with Live Scorer permissions have NO access to:
* LIGR Live dashboard
* Assets section
* Matches section
* Streaming section
* Control Room
* Multimedia section
* Any other features or sections
How to Grant Dashboard Access
If a Live Scorer user needs access to the dashboard, their permission level must be changed to a higher level. Only the organization Owner can modify user permissions.
1. Click the person icon in the bottom left corner
2. Click Permissions
3. Find the user whose permissions you want to change
4. Click the ellipsis (three dots) to the right of their name
5. Select the new permission level from the menu

* Volunteers who only need to track scores
* Camera operators on the sideline
* Anyone who only needs to score the match
* Users who should not have access to organizational settings or streaming configuration
