What is the Live Scorer permission level?
The Live Scorer permission level is a user role that grants access ONLY to the LIGR LiveScore App. Users with this permission cannot access the LIGR.Live dashboard — they are automatically directed to the LiveScore App when they log in.
This permission level is ideal for volunteers, camera operators, or anyone who only needs to track match events during live games without requiring access to any other features.
What Live Scorers can access
Users with Live Scorer permission have access to:
* Complete access to the LIGR LiveScore app ONLY
What Live Scorers cannot access
Users with Live Scorer permission have no access to:
* LIGR Live dashboard
* Any other features or sections
How Live Scorers log in
When a Live Scorer user logs in, they are automatically directed to the LiveScore app at https://score.ligr.live/login. They will not see the LIGR.Live dashboard.
When to use the Live Scorer permission level
Assign the Live Scorer permission level when:
* You need someone on the sideline to track match events during live games
* You want to give volunteers access to score matches without exposing your full dashboard
* A camera operator or team manager needs to capture match events but doesn't require any other system access
How to assign the Live Scorer permission level
Only the organization Owner can assign user permissions.
1. Click the person icon in the bottom left corner
2. Click Permissions
3. Enter the new user's basic details (name and email address)
4. Select "Live Scorer" as their role
5. Send the invitation
The new user will receive a verification email. They must click the verification link before they can access the organization.
Upgrading a Live Scorer to higher permissions
If a Live Scorer user needs dashboard access, their permission level must be changed to a higher level (like User or Club User).
To change permissions:
1. Go to Permissions
2. Find the user whose permissions you want to change
3. Click the ellipsis (three dots) to the right of their name
4. Select the new permission level from the menu
Troubleshooting Live Scorer access
Issue: A Live Scorer user is trying to access the dashboard but keeps getting redirected to the LiveScore App.
Solution: This is expected behavior. The Live Scorer permission level ONLY grants access to the LiveScore App, not the LIGR.Live dashboard. If this user needs dashboard access, their permission level must be changed to a higher level (like User or Club User) in the User Management section.
