Assign a Dedicated Scorer

Consider assigning someone specifically to operate the LiveScore App during matches - a volunteer on the sideline, a team manager, or even your camera operator if they're not too busy. Use the Live Scorer permission level to give them access without exposing your full dashboard.

The Live Scorer permission level grants access ONLY to the LiveScore App. Users with this permission cannot access the LIGR.Live dashboard - they are automatically directed to the LiveScore App when they log in. This is ideal for volunteers, camera operators, or anyone who only needs to track match events.

Review Match History During Breaks

Use halftime or breaks in play to review your Match History and catch any missed or incorrect facts. It's easier to correct errors during the match than to try to remember what happened after the game ends.

To review Match History:

1. Tap the clock icon in the top left of the screen to open Match History

2. Review the chronological list of all match facts captured during the current match

3. Tap the three dots (ellipsis) to the right of any fact to edit or delete it

4. Tap the back arrow to return to the main LiveScore App interface

Practice Before Match Day

Have your Live Scorer practice using the app during training sessions or scrimmages. The pressure of a live match isn't the best time to learn the interface.

Facts Can Be Edited Anytime

Don't panic if you make a mistake during live play. You can edit or delete any fact at any time, even after the match is over. Focus on capturing events quickly during the game, then clean up any errors during breaks or post-match.

To edit a fact after capturing it:

1. Tap the clock icon in the top left of the screen to open Match History

2. Find the fact you want to edit in the chronological list

3. Tap the three dots (ellipsis) to the right of that fact

4. Select "Edit" from the menu that appears at the bottom of your screen

5. Modify the fact type, time (MM:SS format), team, or player as needed

6. Tap "UPDATE" in the top right of the screen

Your changes are now saved and will be reflected in your match record and on overlays.
