Overview

When player rosters are configured for teams in your match, you can assign match facts to specific players in the LiveScore App. Without player data configured, you can still track events by team, but not by individual player.

Player data must be added to team rosters in the Assets section of LIGR.Live before the match begins. Once configured, player names appear in the LiveScore App when you capture match facts, allowing you to assign events like goals, cards, and substitutions to specific players.

How player data appears in the LiveScore App

When you tap a match fact button (Goal, Yellow Card, Corner, etc.) during a live match:

1. Select the team the event applies to

2. If player data is available, the app displays a list of players from that team's roster

3. Select the specific player

4. The match fact is recorded with the player's name attached

If player data is not configured for the teams in your match, you can still capture match facts by team, but the player selection step is skipped.

Setting up player data before using the LiveScore App

Player data must be configured in the Assets section of LIGR.Live before the match:

1. Navigate to Assets in the LIGR.Live dashboard

2. Find the teams playing in your match

3. Add players to their rosters

When importing players using the Import Players function:

* Download the sample file to see the required format

* Upload your CSV file

* On the Import Data Screen, use the dropdown menu to assign the imported players to a team before confirming the import

Ensure that the players toggle in match settings is toggled on for matches where you want these players to appear.

Confirming player selection

When you select a player in the LiveScore App, they will be highlighted in green to confirm your selection.

If player names don't appear in the LiveScore App

Player data must be configured in the Assets section before the match. Navigate to Assets, find the teams playing in your match, and add players to their rosters. When importing players, use the Import Data Screen to assign the imported players to a team before confirming the import using the available dropdown menu. Also ensure that the players toggle in match settings is toggled on for the match you wish your players to appear in.

If the match has already started, you may need to refresh the LiveScore App or restart it to pull in the updated player data.
