Mobile-First Design

The LiveScore App runs in your browser at https://score.ligr.live/login (it is not downloaded from the App Store or Google Play). While it's optimized for mobile devices during live matches, it can also be accessed from any standard web browser on a computer.

The interface is designed for touchscreens and mobile use during live matches. The app is mobile-first, meaning the layout, button sizes, and navigation are built specifically for phones and tablets used on the sideline during games.

Player Data Is Optional But Valuable

You can use the LiveScore App without player data configured. When you create matches without player rosters, you can still track all match events by team - goals, cards, corners, substitutions - but those events won't be assigned to specific players.

If you want player names to appear when capturing match facts, those players must be added to the team rosters in Assets before the match begins. Player data is configured in the Assets section of LIGR.Live, not in the LiveScore App itself.

Setting Up Player Data Before Matches

To enable player-specific tracking in the LiveScore App:

1. Navigate to Assets in the LIGR.Live dashboard

2. Find the teams playing in your match

3. Add players to their rosters

4. When importing players, use the Import Data Screen to assign the imported players to a team before confirming the import using the available dropdown menu

5. Ensure that the players toggle in match settings is toggled on for the match you wish your players to appear in

If the match has already started, you may need to refresh the LiveScore App or restart it to pull in the updated player data.

What Player Data Enables

When player data is configured:

* You can assign match facts to specific players when capturing events

* Player names appear on stream overlays in real-time

* Detailed statistics are tracked per player

* Player-specific graphics can be displayed during broadcasts

* Post-match analysis includes individual player performance data

What Works Without Player Data

If player data is not configured:

* You can still track facts by team (goals, cards, corners, substitutions)

* Team-level statistics are recorded

* Match scores and team events appear on overlays

* Match history shows events by team rather than by player

Player Assignment During Live Matches

When player data is available and you capture a match fact:

1. Tap the appropriate match fact button (Goal, Yellow Card, etc.)

2. Select the team the event applies to

3. If player data is available, select the specific player

4. The selected player will be highlighted in green to confirm your selection

5. Confirm or save the fact

If player data is not configured for the teams in your match, you can still track facts by team, but the player selection step won't appear.
