Troubleshooting missing player names

Learn how to fix missing player names by adding player data in Assets and enabling the players toggle in match settings.

Why player names don't appear

Player data must be configured in the Assets section before the match. If players aren't added to team rosters in Assets, their names won't appear in the LiveScore App when you try to capture match facts.

How to add player data

To add the missing player data, start by navigating to Assets in the LIGR.Live dashboard, then find the teams playing in your match and add players to their rosters. If you're importing players rather than adding them individually, use the Import Data Screen to assign the imported players to a team before confirming the import using the available dropdown menu. Once your rosters are set up, make sure the players toggle in match settings is switched on for the match you want your players to appear in, since this setting controls whether player data is pulled into the match.

If the match has already started

If you've added players to the roster after the match has already started, you'll need to refresh the LiveScore App to pull in the updated player data. Simply refreshing the app, or restarting it if needed, will load the new player information so it's available for capturing match facts.
