What are match facts?

Match facts are individual events that occur during a match — such as goals, yellow cards, red cards, corners, and substitutions. Each match fact includes the type of event, the time it occurred, the team involved, and optionally the player involved (if player data is configured for teams in your match).

When you tap a match fact button during live play, the time is automatically recorded based on when you tap the button. The match fact is then saved to your match history and will appear on your stream overlays (if configured).

What is match history?

Match history is a chronological list of all match facts you've captured during the current match. You can access it by tapping the clock icon in the top left of the LiveScore App screen.

From match history, you can:

* Review all recorded events in chronological order

* Edit existing match facts to correct errors

* Delete match facts that were recorded incorrectly

* Add missed match facts retroactively with the correct time

Accessing match history

To open match history during a live match:

1. Tap the clock icon in the top left of the LiveScore App screen

2. The match history page opens showing all captured match facts

3. Each fact shows the event type, time, team, and player (if assigned)

4. Tap the back arrow to return to the main LiveScore App interface

Adding missed events to match history

If you miss capturing an event during live play, you can add it retroactively through match history:

1. Tap the clock icon to open match history

2. Tap the button that says "ADD EVENT"

3. Select the fact type from the available options

4. Enter the time when the event occurred (format: MM:SS, for example 15:00 for 15 minutes into the match)

5. Select the team

6. If player data is available, select the player

7. Tap "SAVE"

The fact will be inserted into the match timeline at the correct time, even though you added it later.

Editing match facts in match history

To correct a fact you've recorded incorrectly:

1. Tap the clock icon to open match history

2. Find the fact you want to edit in the chronological list

3. Tap the three dots (ellipsis) to the right of that fact

4. Select "Edit" from the menu that appears at the bottom of your screen

5. On the Edit Fact page, you can modify the fact type, time, team, or player

6. Make your changes

7. Tap "UPDATE" in the top right of the screen

Your changes are now saved and will be reflected in your match record and on overlays.

Deleting match facts from match history

To remove a fact that shouldn't exist at all (duplicate entry or completely wrong event):

1. Tap the clock icon to open match history

2. Find the fact you want to delete in the list

3. Tap the three dots (ellipsis) to the right of that fact

4. Select "Delete" from the menu

5. Confirm the deletion

6. The event will be removed from your match history

7. Tap the back arrow to return to the main LiveScore App interface

The fact is permanently removed from your match record.

Time format for match facts

All times in match history are recorded and displayed in MM:SS format (minutes:seconds). For example:

* 05:30 = 5 minutes and 30 seconds into the match

* 45:00 = 45 minutes (end of first half in soccer)

* 78:15 = 78 minutes and 15 seconds

When editing or adding match facts, you must enter the time in MM:SS format.
