Overview

LIGR Live has five permission levels that control what users can access and modify in your organization. Each level is designed for specific roles: Owner for complete control including billing, User for full operational access, Club User for managing specific clubs, Live Scorer for match scoring only, and Media Viewer for view-only content access.

Understanding these permission levels helps you assign the right access to team members, volunteers, and club administrators without exposing features they don't need.

Owner Permissions

The Owner has complete access to everything in the organization.

What Owners can do:

* Full access to all features and settings

* Billing access and payment management

* Invite new users to the organization

* Modify user permission levels

* Transfer ownership to another user

Only the organization Owner can modify user permissions. Once you transfer ownership, you will no longer have owner privileges. The new owner will have complete control including billing and user management.

User Permissions

Users have complete access to the organization with specific exceptions related to account administration.

What Users can do:

* Full access to all operational features and settings

* Create and manage matches, streams, and overlays

* Configure assets, competitions, teams, and players

* Access multimedia and highlights

* Manage streaming and control rooms

What Users cannot do:

* Cannot transfer ownership

* Cannot modify permission levels of existing users

* Cannot invite new users to the organization

* No billing access

This permission level is best for team members who need full operational access but shouldn't manage billing or user accounts.

Club User Permissions

Club Users have limited access focused on managing their assigned club(s) through the Club Portal.

What Club Users can do:

* Update club details: name, graphics, venue, logo, and colors

* Manage teams: add players, set lineups, create new teams

* Create or update ad sets: adjust images, details, and display frequency

* View analytics: ad performance including display durations, screen share, and number of times ads were shown

* Access multimedia: highlights, match recordings, images, and videos

* View matches: upcoming, in-progress, and completed matches

* Upload images and videos to be assigned to competitions

* Share, edit, download, and archive highlights

* Add tags to highlights

What Club Users cannot do:

* Bulk import CSV files for matches

* Create matches

* Modify match settings

* Configure overlay settings

* Configure stream settings

* Modify highlight settings for individual competitions

When you assign someone as a Club User and link them to a specific club, they will see the Club Portal interface when they log in. They can only manage the clubs they're assigned to.

This permission level is best for club administrators who need to manage their club's information and content but shouldn't control match creation or streaming settings.

Live Scorer Permissions

Live Scorers have extremely limited access - only the LIGR LiveScore app.

What Live Scorers can do:

* Complete access to the LIGR LiveScore app ONLY

What Live Scorers cannot do:

* Access the LIGR Live dashboard

* Access any other features or sections

When a Live Scorer logs in, they are automatically directed to the LiveScore app. They have no access to the main dashboard.

This permission level is best for volunteers or camera operators who only need to score the match from the sideline. They don't need access to any other features.

Media Viewer Permissions

Media Viewers have view-only access focused on matches and media content.

What Media Viewers can do:

* View upcoming matches and matches not yet started or already finished

* Access Match Centre or Match Recording for specific matches

* Select highlights and add tags

* Download highlights

* Adjust lead/lag (pre-roll and post-roll) on highlights

* Open highlights in Video Editor to combine with other highlights

* Share highlights on social media

* View and download match recordings after matches end

* Add moments in Moments Editor

* View and download images uploaded to the organization

* View and download videos uploaded to the organization

What Media Viewers cannot do:

* Assign images or videos to competitions

* Rename assets

* Modify any settings or configurations

This permission level is best for content creators or social media managers who need to access and share match content but shouldn't modify organizational settings.

How to Assign Permission Levels

Only the organization Owner can modify user permissions.

1. Click the person icon in the bottom left corner

2. Click Permissions

3. Find the user whose permissions you want to change

4. Click the ellipsis (three dots) to the right of their name

5. Select the new permission level from the menu

When inviting a new user, you select their role during the invitation process. The new user will receive a verification email and must click the verification link before they can access the organization.

Assigning Users to Clubs

When you want someone to manage a specific club without full organization access:

1. Navigate to Permissions

2. Select the user or create a new user

3. Choose "Club User" as their role

4. Link them to the relevant club

5. The user will now access the Club Portal when they log in

Club Users can only manage the clubs they're assigned to. Teams inherit the club's logo by default, but Club Users can upload a unique team logo if desired. Ad sets can only be assigned to one club at a time. When you assign an ad set to a club, it makes the ad set available to all teams within that club.
