Overview

If the stream preview isn't loading in Multiview, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take. This issue is typically caused by viewing mode settings, browser state, stream status, or browser permissions.

Switch Between WebRTC and HLS Viewing Modes

LIGR supports two viewing methods for monitoring streams:

* WebRTC: Lower latency, better for real-time monitoring

* HLS: More stable, shows stream quality as your audience sees it

Try switching between these two modes to see if the preview loads. One mode may work better depending on your network conditions or browser.

Refresh the Browser Page

A simple browser refresh can resolve many preview loading issues. Refresh the Multiview page and wait for the stream tiles to reload.

Check That Stream Is Actually Active

Verify that the stream is actually live and not just scheduled. The preview will not load if:

* The stream has been created but not started

* The stream is scheduled for a future time

* The stream has already ended

Check the stream's status indicator to confirm it's active (red indicator means live).

Verify Browser Permissions for Video Playback

Check that your browser has permission to play video content. Browser security settings may block video playback in some cases. Ensure your browser allows video playback for the LIGR Live site.

Additional Considerations

If the preview still doesn't load after trying these steps:

* Test with a different browser if the issue persists

* Use modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) for best compatibility

* Keep your browser updated to the latest version
