Overview
Bulk match import allows you to create multiple matches at once by uploading a CSV file. This is faster than creating matches individually when you have many matches to set up for a competition. Matches imported under a specific competition automatically inherit the competition's pre-configured match settings (period configuration, player settings, lineup settings, and stat coverage).

Prerequisites
Before you import matches via CSV, make sure the following are already set up:
• At least one competition created in Assets.
• At least two teams assigned to that competition.
• Venues created in Assets > Venues.
How to Import Matches Using CSV
To import matches, start by clicking CREATE MATCH in the top right corner of the Matches page, then click IMPORT MATCHES. From there, download the CSV sample file to see the correct format, and prepare your own CSV file with your match details following that sample format. Once your file is ready, upload it, and the matches will be created and appear in the Matches table.

What Happens After Import
When you import matches under a specific competition, those matches automatically inherit the competition's pre-configured match settings. This includes:
• Period configuration (half length, half time length, extra time settings).
• Player settings (whether players are enabled, event capture level).
• Lineup settings (starting lineup size, max bench size).
• Stat coverage (minimum or standard).
You don't need to configure these settings individually for each imported match - they're applied automatically based on the competition.
