Overview
Creating a single match in LIGR Live sets up a scheduled sporting event between two teams. You'll select the competition, home and away teams, date and time, venue, and configure match settings like period length, stat coverage, player settings, and lineup configuration. Once created, you can either return to the Matches table or immediately configure streams and overlays for the match.

Prerequisites
Before creating a match, make sure the following are already set up in the Assets section: at least one competition must be created, at least two teams must be created and assigned to that competition, and at least one venue must be created.
How to Create a Single Match
To begin, click CREATE MATCH in the top right corner of the Matches page. From the form that appears, select the competition from the dropdown, then choose the home team and the away team from their respective dropdowns. Next, set the match date using the date picker and set the match time. Select the venue from the dropdown, and if you'd like, you can optionally assign a live scorer from the dropdown as well.
Period Configuration
If your competition has pre-configured match settings, these fields will auto-fill; otherwise, configure them manually based on your sport. For a football match, for example, you would set the half length (the duration of each half, e.g. 45 minutes) and the half time length (the duration of the half-time break, e.g. 15 minutes), and toggle on Extra Time or Shootout if either is needed. Settings vary by sport and will display different options based on the selected competition.
Stat Coverage
Next, select the level of statistical coverage for the match. Choose Minimum for basic match events only, or Standard for full statistical coverage.
Player Settings
Toggle on PLAYERS if you want player-specific graphics and events to be tracked. If enabled, select the player event capture level from the dropdown:
1. All player events: capture all player-related match events.
2. Major only: capture only major events like goals and cards.
3. Team list only: display team rosters without event tracking.
Lineup Settings
Configure the roster size based on your sport by setting the starting lineup size (the number of players in the starting lineup, e.g. 11 for football) and the max bench size (the maximum number of substitute players, e.g. 7 for football).
Advanced Settings
A few advanced options let you fine-tune how the match clock behaves. Use Clock must be enabled for the match clock to display on graphics, and it is enabled by default. Clock Direction lets you choose whether the clock counts up from 0 or counts down from the match length. Cumulative can be toggled on for cumulative timing across periods, and Injury Time can be toggled on to track injury time or stoppage time in football. Finally, choose between Stop at Length or Tick Until End to decide how the clock behaves when it reaches the end of a period.

Completing Match Creation
After configuring all settings, choose one of two options: click CREATE AND RETURN to save the match and return to the Matches table, or click CREATE AND CONFIGURE STREAMS AND OVERLAYS to save the match and immediately proceed to stream and overlay setup.
Important Notes
Keep in mind that match settings cannot be edited once the match has started, whether from the LiveScore app or an external data provider. Only teams assigned to the selected competition will appear in the home and away team dropdowns. Additionally, if your competition has pre-configured match settings in Assets, those settings automatically apply to new matches created under that competition.
