Overview
Compilation templates automatically generate highlight reels based on rules you configure. If a template isn't generating videos, there are three primary causes: recurrence settings preventing automatic generation, no completed matches under the selected stream, or no highlights captured during those matches.

Check Recurrence Settings
Templates only run automatically if recurrence is configured correctly. To check this, 1. navigate to Multimedia > Compilations, 2. click the Templates tab, 3. select the template that isn't generating videos, and 4. check its Recurrence setting.
If recurrence is set to Manual, the template will not run automatically. You must trigger it yourself by manually running the template, since manual templates are designed for on-demand generation only.
If recurrence is set to Daily, Weekly, or Monthly, verify the template is configured to run at the correct time. For example, a weekly template set for Sunday at 6 PM will only generate compilations at that specific time each week.
If recurrence is set to When Match is Finished, the template triggers automatically when you mark a match as finished in the app. Verify that matches are actually being marked as finished - if they remain in a live or paused state, the template will not trigger.
Verify Completed Matches Exist
Templates only work with matches that have finished. If no completed matches exist under the selected stream, the template has nothing to compile. To verify this, 1. navigate to Multimedia > Compilations, 2. select the template, 3. check which stream was selected when creating the template, 4. navigate to Matches > Completed tab, and 5. verify that matches exist under that stream.
If no completed matches appear, either matches haven't been marked as finished yet, or they were created under a different stream than the one selected in the template.

Confirm Highlights Were Captured
Even if completed matches exist, the template requires highlights to compile. If no highlights were captured during those matches, the compilation will be empty and may not generate. To check this, 1. navigate to Multimedia > Highlights, 2. filter by the competition or matches included in your template, and 3. verify highlights exist for the matches.
If no highlights appear, check these requirements:
• Generate Highlights was toggled on in stream settings before the match.
• Match events were logged during the broadcast via LiveScore app or external data provider.
• The stream was actually live when events occurred.
If highlights were never captured during the original broadcast, the template cannot generate a compilation. You would need to manually create moments from match recordings using the Moments Editor as an alternative.
Check Event Configuration
Templates only include events that were both configured in the template AND actually occurred during matches. For example, if you selected "Penalty" as an event type but no penalties were logged during any of the matches, nothing will be included for that event in the compilation. Review your template configuration and verify that the selected events actually occurred in the matches you're trying to compile.
Solution Summary
To resolve compilation template issues:
• Verify recurrence is not set to Manual if you expect automatic generation.
• Confirm completed matches exist under the stream selected in the template.
• Check that highlights were captured during those matches.
• Ensure the events you configured in the template actually occurred during the matches.
