Compilation templates build a highlight compilation for you automatically, so you don't have to put one together by hand after every game. You set the rules once (which competition, which events, which streams and when to run) and LIGR Live creates the video each time those conditions are met.

Before you start
A template can only use highlights that were captured during your streams. Check the following before you build one:
Highlights are being captured. The Generate Highlights toggle must be turned on in your stream settings.
Your competition and stream are already set up in the Assets and Matches tabs, for example the LIGR Demo League with a stream for Harbour City (HCF) v Ridgeview (RVR).
Ideally, you have at least one completed match with captured highlights, so you can confirm the template produces what you expect.
Open the Templates tab
Go to Multimedia and open Compilations.
Click the Templates tab. Any templates you've already made are listed here.
Click Create Template in the top right corner. The template setup opens and walks you through three steps.
Step 1: Competition and ads
Enter a template name. Choose something that describes the output, such as "LIGR Demo League match highlights", so it's easy to find later.
Select the sport the template applies to, if asked. This controls which match events you can pick in the next step.
Pick the competition. Only matches in this competition will be used.
Optionally, choose a pre-roll video to play at the start and a post-roll video to play at the end. These are a good place for a sponsor message, league intro or sign-off, and they bookend every compilation the template makes.
If you want more than one competition in the same template, click Add Competition and repeat the selection.
Step 2: Match events and streams
Click Add Event and choose the event type you want included, for example goals.
Optionally, select a tag to narrow down which highlights of that event are used.
Set the lead (how much footage before the event) and lag (how much after). Shorter values keep the compilation tight.
Repeat for each event you want. Add as many as you need.
Choose the streams. Matches under the selected stream are the ones that feed the template.
Optionally, turn on Include Club Moments to add manually created moments as well as auto-captured highlights, and Available to Club Portals if clubs should be able to access the finished compilations.
Step 3: Recurrence and export
Choose a Recurrence to set when the template runs:
Manual: runs only when you trigger it.
Daily: runs every day at a set time.
Weekly: runs on a chosen day of the week at a set time.
Monthly: runs on a chosen day of the month at a set time.
When Match is Finished: runs automatically as soon as a match is marked as finished.
Then choose the output mode:
All in One Video Ordered by Event: every match combined into one video, grouped by event type.
All in One Video Ordered by Match: every match combined into one video, in match order.
One Video Per Match: a separate compilation for each match.
When everything looks right, click Create Template.
What happens after you save
Your template appears in the Templates tab. Each time the recurrence condition is met, LIGR Live builds the compilation from the matching highlights and adds it to the Videos tab, ready to watch, download or share.
For example, a weekly template set for Sunday evening with three completed matches that week will produce a compilation covering all three matches.
Tips and common mistakes
Only events actually logged during the stream are included. If you add penalties but none were recorded, nothing appears for that event.
Pair When Match is Finished with One Video Per Match to get a highlights package for each game straight after full-time.
Use a weekly recurrence after the last match of the round for a consistent round-up reel.
If compilations feel too long, reduce the lead and lag or remove less important events.
