How to archive assets

Archive competitions, clubs, teams, players, and venues to remove from active use without deleting. Clubs cannot be archived if they have active teams—archive all teams first.

Overview

Archiving removes assets from active use but doesn't delete them. Archived assets are hidden from default views but can be restored by toggling "Include Archived" in filter options. You can archive competitions, clubs, teams, players, and venues.

Important: You cannot archive a club that has active teams under it. All teams within the club must be archived first before you can archive the club itself.

How to archive a competition

To archive a competition, click the Assets tab, then Competitions, and find the competition you want to archive. Click the X icon next to the competition name and confirm the action. The competition is now archived and will not appear in default views.

How to archive a club

Warning: You cannot archive a club that has teams under it. Archive all teams within the club first.

To archive a club, click Assets in the left hand side dashboard, then select Clubs & Teams. Find the club you want to archive, click the X icon next to the club name, and confirm the action. If you see an error, it means the club still has active teams, and you must archive all teams first before the club can be archived.

How to archive a team

To archive a team, click Assets > Clubs and Teams and select the team you want to archive. Click the Archive Team button at the bottom of the screen and confirm the action. Note: Archiving a team affects all players on that team.

How to archive a player

To archive a player, click Assets > Players, then search for and select the player. Click the Archive Player button and confirm the action. The player is removed from active rosters but remains in the system.

How to archive a venue

To archive a venue, click Assets > Venues and select the venue you want to archive. Click Archive Venue, the red button at the bottom of the page, and confirm the action. The venue will no longer appear in venue selection dropdowns during match creation.

Viewing archived assets

Archived assets are hidden from default views, but you can bring them back into view at any time. Navigate to the relevant Assets section (Competitions, Clubs and Teams, Players, or Venues), open the filter options, and toggle on "Include Archived". Archived items will now appear in your results list.
