How to archive or remove players

Archive a player to remove from the system entirely, or remove a player from a team while keeping them in the system. Both actions available from the player edit screen.

You can archive a player to remove them from the system entirely, or remove a player from a team while keeping them in the system. Both actions are available from the player edit screen.


How to Archive a Player

Archiving a player removes them from your system permanently.


1. Click Assets in the left-hand dashboard


2. Select Players


3. Search for the player you want to archive


4. Select the player to open their profile


5. Click Archive Player


6. Confirm the action


The player is now archived and removed from the system.


How to Remove a Player from a Team

Removing a player from a team keeps the player in your system but removes them from the specific team roster.


1. Click Assets in the left-hand dashboard


2. Select Players


3. Search for the player


4. Select the player to open their profile


5. Click Remove Player from Team


6. Confirm the action


The player is removed from the team roster but remains in your system and can be added to other teams.


Accessing Player Edit Screen from a Team

You can also archive or remove players when viewing a team's roster:


1. Click Assets in the left-hand dashboard


2. Select Clubs and Teams


3. Select the team


4. Click the Players tab


5. Find the player in the roster list on the left side


6. Click the player profile preview to open their profile


7. Click Archive Player or Remove Player from Team


8. Confirm the action


When to Archive vs Remove

Archive a player when you want to permanently remove them from your system. The player will no longer appear in any team rosters or player lists.


Remove a player from a team when you want to keep the player in your system but remove them from a specific team. This is useful when a player transfers to another team within your organization.
