Media Viewer access gives a user view-only permission to recordings, highlights, and media within your Organisation, without granting access to live production or asset management.
What a Media Viewer Can Do
The Media Viewer role is the most restricted permission level in LIGR Live. It is designed for people who need to watch back content but should not be able to change anything.
A Media Viewer can:
• View match recordings
• View Highlights and Compilations
• View Moments tagged in a match
• Access the media library in read-only mode
A Media Viewer cannot:
• Create or edit Competitions, Clubs, Teams, Players, or Venues
• Create or manage Matches
• Access the Control Room
• Operate the LiveScore App
• Manage billing, users, or Organisation settings
When to Use Media Viewer Access
This role is useful for:
• Club stakeholders who want to review match footage
• Coaches or analysts who need access to recordings but not production
• Sponsors reviewing content for approval
• External reviewers or media partners
If a user needs to do more than watch content, consider a different role such as Gameday Operator or User.

Before you invite a Media Viewer, make sure:

1. Go to Profile > Permissions.
2. Locate the user.
3. Select the option to remove them from the Organisation.
Tips
• Media Viewer is a good default role for anyone who should not touch live production.
• If a Media Viewer needs to review content specific to one club only, consider whether a Club User role in the Club Portal is a better fit.
• Keep your Permissions list tidy by removing Media Viewers who no longer need access.
• Role changes are logged against the user, so you can always change them back if needed.
Common Issues
The invited user did not receive the email Ask them to check their spam folder. If it still has not arrived, remove the pending invite and send it again.
The Media Viewer cannot see a match recording Confirm the recording exists and has finished processing. Media Viewers can only see content that is already available in the Organisation.

You cannot see the option to invite users Only Owners and Admins can manage permissions. If the option is missing, check your own role.
