Inviting users to your Organisation in LIGR Live lets you give teammates, operators, and scorers the right level of access to your assets, matches, and production tools.
Overview
Your Organisation is the top-level account that contains all of your Competitions, Clubs, Teams, Matches, and settings. To let others work alongside you, you need to invite them and assign a role that matches what they'll be doing — whether that's managing the whole account, running the Control Room on gameday, or scoring matches from the LiveScore App.
This guide covers how to send invitations, choose the right role, and manage pending or existing users.
Prerequisites
Before you start, make sure you have:
• An Owner or Admin role in your Organisation (other roles cannot invite users)
• The email address of the person you want to invite
• A clear idea of what access level they need
Accessing User Management
1. Log in to LIGR Live.
2. Open your Profile menu.
3. Go to the Permissions section.
This is where all current users, pending invitations, and role assignments are managed.

2. Enter the user's email address.
3. Select the role you want to assign from the role dropdown.

The invited user will receive an email with a link to accept the invitation and set up their account.

Choosing the Right Role
LIGR Live offers several role types, each with a different scope of access. Choose the one that matches the user's responsibilities:
• Owner — Full access to everything, including billing and ownership transfer. Only one Owner per Organisation.
• Admin — Can manage most settings and assets but cannot access billing or transfer ownership.
• User — Standard access for production operators working across the Organisation.
• Gameday Operator — Can create matches, manage overlays, and operate the Control Room.
• Live Scorer — Access limited to the LiveScore App for recording Match Facts.
• Media Viewer — View-only access to recordings, Highlights, and other media.
If you're inviting someone who only needs to score matches on the day, choose Live Scorer. If they're running graphics in the Control Room, choose Gameday Operator.
Managing Pending Invitations
Pending invitations stay in the Permissions list until the user accepts. From here you can:
• Resend the invitation email if the user didn't receive it
• Cancel the invitation if it was sent in error
• Edit the role before the invitation is accepted (where supported)

Changing or Removing a User's Role
Once a user has accepted their invitation, you can update their access at any time:
1. Find the user in the Permissions list.
2. Click their role to open the role options.
3. Select a new role, or choose to remove them from the Organisation.
Changes take effect immediately the next time the user signs in.
Tips
• Use the Gameday Operator role for casual volunteers who only need match-day access — it keeps your core settings safe.
• For clubs that manage their own players and media, consider using the Club Portal with Club Admin or Club User roles instead of Organisation-level access.
• Keep the Owner role reserved for the person responsible for billing and overall account control.
• Audit your user list regularly and remove people who no longer need access.
Common Issues
The user didn't receive the invitation email. Ask them to check spam or junk folders. If it's still missing, resend the invitation from the Permissions page.
I can't see the Invite User option. Only Owners and Admins can invite users. If the option isn't visible, check your own role.
The user can log in but can't see certain features. Their role may not include access to that area. For example, a Live Scorer cannot access the Control Room. Update their role if needed.
I need to transfer ownership of the Organisation. Only the current Owner can transfer ownership. This is a separate action from inviting users.
