How to Remove a User from Your Organisation

Written by Julian Rodrigues

Removing a user from your Organisation revokes their access to your LIGR Live account, including all Matches, Assets, and production tools they previously had permission to use.

Overview

When someone leaves your team or no longer needs access to LIGR Live, you can remove them from your Organisation through the Permissions settings in your Profile. This ensures your Organisation stays secure and only active team members can access your Matches, Control Room, and Assets.

This guide covers how to remove a user, what happens after removal, and common issues to watch out for.

Prerequisites

Before you can remove a user, make sure you have:

• An Owner or Admin role in the Organisation

• Confirmed which user you want to remove

• Reassigned any active responsibilities (for example, scheduled Matches they were set to operate)

Note: Only the Owner can remove other Admins. A standard User cannot remove anyone from the Organisation.

Steps to Remove a User

1. Log in to LIGR Live with an Owner or Admin account.

2. Click your profile icon in the top right corner.

3. Go to Profile and open the Permissions tab.

4. Locate the user you want to remove in the list of Organisation members.

5. Click the options menu next to their name.

6. Select Remove User.

7. Confirm the removal when prompted.

Once confirmed, the user will immediately lose access to your Organisation.

What Happens After a User Is Removed

• They can no longer log in to your Organisation

• Their access to the Control Room, LiveScore App, and Club Portal (where applicable) is revoked

• Any Production Links or Monitoring Links they were using will no longer work for their account

• Matches, Graphics, or Assets they created remain in the Organisation

• They retain their personal LIGR Live login, but it will no longer be connected to your Organisation

Tips

• Before removing a Gameday Operator or Live Scorer, check they are not assigned to an upcoming Match.

• If a user only needs temporary restricted access, consider changing their role instead of removing them completely.

• For users with a Club Admin, Club Super Admin, or Club User role, removal is handled within the relevant Club Portal rather than at the Organisation level.

• Keep a record of role changes and removals for auditing purposes.

Common Issues

I can't see the Remove User option. You likely don't have the required permissions. Only Owners and Admins can remove users, and only the Owner can remove another Admin.

The user still appears in the list after removal. Refresh the page. If they still appear, log out and log back in, then check the Permissions tab again.

I accidentally removed the wrong user. You will need to re-invite them from the Permissions tab and reassign their role. Any role-specific configurations may need to be set up again.

I need to transfer ownership before leaving. Ownership transfer is a separate process from removing a user. The current Owner must transfer ownership before their account can be removed.
