The Owner role in LIGR Live is the only permission level with full access to billing, subscriptions, and payment settings for your Organisation.
What the Owner Role Controls
The Owner is the highest permission level in a LIGR Live Organisation. This role has complete access to every feature, setting, and asset, including sensitive billing information that other roles cannot see or manage.
Only the Owner can:
• View and update payment methods
• Manage the Organisation's subscription plan
• View invoices and billing history
• Change billing contact details
• Transfer ownership to another user
• Cancel or downgrade the Organisation's plan

How Owner Permissions Differ from Other Roles
LIGR Live uses a tiered permission system. Understanding where the Owner sits helps clarify why billing is restricted to this role.
Organisation-Level Roles
• Owner — Full access, including billing and ownership transfer
• Admin — Can manage most Organisation settings and assets, but cannot access billing or transfer ownership
• User — Standard access for production operators
• Gameday Operator — Can create matches, manage overlays, and operate the Control Room
• Live Scorer — Can only access the LiveScore App to record Match Facts
• Media Viewer — View-only access to recordings, Highlights, and media
Admins have broad control over day-to-day operations, but billing is intentionally reserved for the Owner to keep financial responsibility with a single accountable user.
Accessing Billing and Usage as the Owner
If you are signed in as the Owner, you can reach billing settings through your profile.
1. Click your profile icon in the top right of LIGR Live.
2. Select Billing and Usage.
3. Review your current plan, payment method, and usage details.

Transferring Ownership
Because there can only be one Owner per Organisation, transferring ownership permanently moves all billing access to another user. The previous Owner typically becomes an Admin after the transfer.
Before transferring ownership:
1. Confirm the new Owner already has a LIGR Live account within your Organisation.
2. Ensure the new Owner understands they will take on billing responsibility.
3. Complete the transfer from your Organisation settings.
Tips
• Keep billing contact details up to date so invoices and payment notifications reach the right person.
• If multiple people need visibility over Organisation settings without billing access, assign them the Admin role instead.
• Review your usage regularly to make sure your plan matches how your team uses LIGR Live.
• Before transferring ownership, double-check the recipient's email address to avoid handing billing control to the wrong user.
Common Issues
"I can't see Billing and Usage in my profile"
You are likely signed in as an Admin, User, or another non-Owner role. Only the Owner can view billing. Ask your current Owner to check the Organisation's user list to confirm your role.
"Our Owner has left the company"
If the Owner is no longer available to transfer ownership, contact LIGR Live support. You will need to verify your identity and your authority to take over the Organisation before ownership can be reassigned.
"I'm the Owner but billing options look limited"
Make sure you are logged into the correct Organisation. If you belong to multiple Organisations, you may be viewing one where you are not the Owner.
