How to Update Billing Details

Written by Julian Rodrigues
Updated today

Keeping your billing details up to date in LIGR Live ensures your Organisation's subscription and usage charges are processed without interruption.

Who Can Update Billing Details

Billing access is restricted by permission level:

Owner — Full access to all billing settings and payment methods.

Admin — Can manage most settings but cannot access billing or ownership transfer.

User, Gameday Operator, Live Scorer, Media Viewer — No access to billing.

If you cannot see the Billing section, you likely do not have Owner permissions. Contact your Organisation Owner to request changes.

Accessing Your Billing Settings

1. Log in to LIGR Live as the Organisation Owner.

2. Click your profile icon in the top navigation.

3. Select Profile from the dropdown menu.

4. Navigate to the Billing and Usage section.

Follow these steps to change the card or payment method on file:

1. Open the Billing and Usage page.

2. Locate the Payment Method panel.

3. Click Update Payment Method (or Add Payment Method if none exists).

4. Enter your new card details, including card number, expiry, CVC, and billing postcode.

5. Click Save to confirm.

Your new payment method will be used for all future charges on your Organisation account.

Updating Billing Contact and Address

Your billing contact details appear on invoices and receipts.

3. Update the following fields as needed:

• Billing name or company name

• Billing email address

• Street address, city, state, and postcode

• Country

• Tax or VAT ID (if applicable)

Viewing Invoices and Billing History

You can review past charges directly from the same page:

• Scroll to the Invoices or Billing History section.

• Click any invoice to view or download a PDF copy.

• Use downloaded invoices for your records or to forward to your finance team.

Tips

• Update your payment method before your current card expires to avoid a failed charge and any interruption to your subscription.

• Make sure your billing email is monitored — receipts and payment failure notifications are sent there.

• If your Organisation uses a finance team, add their email as the billing contact so invoices go directly to them.

• Keep your tax or VAT ID current to ensure invoices are compliant for your region.

Common Issues

I don't see the Billing and Usage section. Only the Organisation Owner can access billing. Admins and other roles will not see this section. Ask your Owner to make the change, or request an ownership transfer.

My payment failed after updating my card. Double-check the card number, expiry, CVC, and billing postcode match exactly what your bank has on file. If the issue persists, contact your card provider or reach out to LIGR support.

I need to transfer ownership to update billing. Ownership transfer is a separate process from updating billing details. Contact LIGR support if the current Owner is no longer available.

My invoice is missing tax details. Add your tax or VAT ID in the Billing Details section and save before your next billing cycle so it appears on future invoices.
