Reviewing Match Facts lets you check, verify, and correct the events recorded during a match — such as goals, cards, and substitutions — so your stats, highlights, and Review Page are accurate.

What Are Match Facts?

Match Facts are the individual events captured in the LiveScore App (or automatically triggered from the Control Room) during a match. Every Match Fact contributes to the live score, match statistics, and the post-match Review Page.

Common Match Facts include:

• Goals

• Cards (yellow, red)

• Substitutions

• Corners

• Period changes (start, half time, full time)

• Other sport-specific events tracked under your Data Coverage level

Why Review Match Facts?

Live scoring can move fast, and mistakes happen. Reviewing Match Facts after the match helps you:

• Correct events that were logged to the wrong player or team

• Remove duplicate or accidental entries

• Add events that were missed during live scoring

• Ensure Highlights and Moments are tagged to the correct timestamps

• Confirm final stats before sharing the Review Page or Match Centre

• The match has been completed (or at least has events recorded)

• You have an appropriate permission level (Admin, User, or Gameday Operator)

• You know which match you need to review

4. Tap an event to edit or delete it.

Tips

• Review Match Facts as soon as possible after the match — while the details are still fresh.

• Corrections made to Match Facts will update the Review Page and Match Centre automatically.

• If you use Moments and Highlights, check that timestamps line up with Match Facts so clips are tagged correctly.

• For matches with higher Data Coverage, take extra time to confirm sport-specific events are logged accurately.
