Recording goals as Match Facts in the LiveScore App captures each scoring event in real time, updating the live score and triggering any goal-related graphics configured in your Automated Game Plan.
What Are Goal Match Facts?
A goal Match Fact is a tagged event recorded during a match that tells LIGR Live a goal has been scored. Each goal you record:
• Updates the live score shown in the Scorebug
• Can trigger goal-related Playlists or Graphics via the Automated Game Plan
• Appears in the Review Page and Match Centre after the match
• Becomes a tagged Moment that can be used to create Highlights
Before You Start

• The Match has been created in LIGR Live under the correct Competition
• Both Teams have been assigned to the Match with player lineups

Adding Goal Details
Depending on the Data Coverage level set for the Competition, you may be able to add extra details such as:
• Goal type (e.g. open play, penalty, free kick, own goal)
• Assisting player
• Time of the goal (auto-filled from the Match clock)
Higher Data Coverage levels capture more detail, which flows through to the Review Page and any data-driven Graphics.
Editing or Deleting a Goal Match Fact
If you tap the wrong player or record a goal in error:
1. Open the Match Facts list in the LiveScore App.
2. Find the goal event you want to change.
3. Tap it to edit the player, assist, or goal type.
4. To remove the event entirely, select Delete.
Edits and deletions sync back to LIGR Live and update the score and any dependent Graphics.

Tips
• Record goals as soon as they happen so Graphics trigger at the right moment during the live broadcast.
• Double-check the scoring player before confirming — corrections are possible but may cause a brief graphic re-trigger.
• If your Automated Game Plan includes a goal Playlist, a recorded goal Match Fact will trigger it automatically in the Control Room.
• Keep your device connected to a stable network to avoid delays in syncing Match Facts.
