The LiveScore App lets Live Scorers record Match Facts in real time during a rugby match, feeding live data into LIGR Live so scorebugs, overlays, and automated graphics update automatically.
Before You Start
Make sure the following is in place before kick-off:
• The Match has been created in LIGR Live under the correct Competition
• Both Teams are assigned to the Match with up-to-date squads
• The scorer has been given the Live Scorer role (or higher) in the Organisation
• The LiveScore App is installed and the scorer is signed in with their LIGR credentials

Recording Rugby Match Facts
Once the Match is live, the scorer records Match Facts as they happen. Each event updates the scorebug and can trigger graphics via the Automated Game Plan.

Reviewing and Correcting Match Facts
If you record an event incorrectly, you can edit or delete it from the Match timeline within the app.
1. Open the timeline view for the current Match.
2. Locate the Match Fact you need to change.
3. Tap the event to edit the details or remove it entirely.
Corrections flow through to the scorebug, the Review Page, and the Match Centre.
Tips
• Assign scoring and disciplinary duties to one scorer and substitutions to another if you have two devices available.
• Double-check squads before kick-off so the correct player list appears when recording Match Facts.
• Keep the device plugged in or fully charged — the LiveScore App needs a stable connection for the full 80 minutes.
• If your Match uses an Automated Game Plan, each Match Fact may trigger a Playlist or Graphic, so record events promptly for the best on-screen timing.
Common Issues
• Match not appearing in the app — confirm the Match has been created in LIGR Live, the scorer is signed in to the correct Organisation, and they have the Live Scorer role.
• Cannot select a player — the squad may be missing players. Update the Team squad in LIGR Live and refresh the Match in the app.
• Scorebug not updating — check the device's internet connection and confirm the Match is in a live state, not ended or paused.
• Wrong event recorded — use the timeline view to edit or delete the Match Fact rather than trying to compensate with additional events.
• Clock out of sync with the referee — most rugby scoring in LIGR follows the live clock; small differences are normal. For larger drifts, contact your Gameday Operator to review Data Coverage settings.
