The LiveScore App lets a Live Scorer open a scheduled Match on a mobile device and prepare it for capturing Match Facts such as goals, cards, and substitutions during play.
Before You Start
Before you can set up a Match in the LiveScore App, a few things need to be in place in your LIGR Live Organisation:
• The Match must already be created under a Competition in LIGR Live
• Both Teams must be assigned to the Match
• The user signing in must have the Live Scorer role (or higher) on the Organisation
• The device must have the LiveScore App installed and an active internet connection

Signing In to the LiveScore App
1. Open the LiveScore App on your mobile device.
2. Enter the email address and password associated with your LIGR Live account.
3. Tap Sign In.
Once signed in, you will see a list of upcoming Matches from your Organisation that you have permission to score.
Selecting the Match
1. From the Matches list, find the Match you want to score.
2. Tap the Match to open it.
3. Review the Match details, including:
• Competition name
• Home Team and Away Team
• Venue
• Scheduled start time

If the Match details are incorrect, they must be updated in LIGR Live before scoring begins — they cannot be edited from the LiveScore App.
Confirming the Lineups
Before kick-off, confirm the Players who will be taking part in the Match.
1. Open the Lineups section for the Match.
2. For each Team, select the starting Players from the squad.
3. Mark remaining Players as substitutes.
4. Assign any Team-specific roles (such as captain) if prompted.
5. Save the lineup for each Team.

Only Players that exist on the Team in LIGR Live will appear here. If a Player is missing, add them to the Team in LIGR Live first, then refresh the Match in the app.
Reviewing Match Settings
Depending on how the Match and Competition have been configured, you may see settings such as:
• Data Coverage level (Minimum through Standard)
• Sport-specific options for period length or match format
• Officials assigned to the Match
Review these settings and confirm they match what will actually happen on the field.
Starting the Match
Once lineups and settings are confirmed, you are ready to begin capturing Match Facts.
1. Tap Start Match (or the equivalent kick-off control) when play begins.
2. The Match clock will start, and the Match Facts screen will become active.
3. From here, you can record events such as goals, cards, and substitutions as they happen.
The Match Facts you record in the LiveScore App feed directly into LIGR Live, where they drive the Scorebug, Automated Game Plans, and the Match Centre in real time.
Tips
• Sign in and open the Match at least 15 minutes before kick-off to allow time for lineup confirmation.
• Double-check the Home Team and Away Team before starting — swapping them mid-Match is not possible from the app.
• Keep your device plugged in or fully charged; the LiveScore App runs throughout the full Match.
• If multiple people might score the Match, agree in advance who the active Live Scorer will be to avoid duplicate entries.
Common Issues
I can't see my Match in the list Check that you are signed in with the correct account and that your user has been given the Live Scorer role for the Organisation that owns the Match. Also confirm the Match has been created in LIGR Live.
A Player is missing from the lineup Players must exist on the Team in LIGR Live before they appear in the LiveScore App. Add the Player in LIGR Live, then pull to refresh the Match in the app.
Team names or Venue are wrong These fields are set on the Match in LIGR Live and cannot be edited from the LiveScore App. Update the Match in LIGR Live and reopen it in the app.
The Match won't start Make sure both Team lineups have been confirmed and saved. The app will usually prevent kick-off until lineups are complete.
