The LiveScore App is a mobile app used by scorers to capture live Match events such as goals, cards, and substitutions, feeding real-time data into LIGR Live to drive graphics, stats, and automation during a Match.
Overview
The LiveScore App is the primary tool for recording what happens on the field during a Match. Every event entered in the app becomes a Match Fact in LIGR Live, which can then trigger Graphics, update the Scorebug, and populate the Review Page and Match Centre.
It is designed to be used by a dedicated scorer at the venue, working alongside the Gameday Operator who runs the Control Room.

What the LiveScore App Does
The LiveScore App lets a Live Scorer:
• Record live Match events (Match Facts) as they happen
• Capture goals, cards, substitutions, and other sport-specific events
• Keep the live score and Match clock in sync with LIGR Live
• Feed data into Automated Game Plans so Graphics play at the right moment
• Build a complete event log used for post-match stats, the Review Page, and Highlights
How It Fits Into a LIGR Live Match
The LiveScore App is one part of a wider Match workflow:
• Assets (Competitions, Clubs, Teams, Players, Venues) are created in LIGR Live
• A Match is created under a Competition
• The Live Scorer opens the Match in the LiveScore App and records Match Facts
• The Gameday Operator uses the Control Room to manage Overlays and Graphics
• Match Facts from the app can drive Graphics automatically via an Automated Game Plan, or be used as reference by the operator in Manual Mode

Who Uses the LiveScore App
The app is typically used by someone with the Live Scorer role, which is a permission level that only grants access to the LiveScore App to record Match events.
It can also be used by users with broader permissions (such as Admin or Gameday Operator) who want to score a Match themselves.
Getting Access
To use the LiveScore App you need:
1. A user account in a LIGR Live Organisation
2. The Live Scorer role (or a role with equivalent access)
3. The LiveScore App installed on your mobile device
4. A Match already created in LIGR Live that you are assigned to score
Once signed in, the app will show the Matches available for you to score.
Why Match Facts Matter
Every event you record in the LiveScore App becomes a Match Fact. Match Facts are important because they:
• Drive the live Scorebug (score, time, team info)
• Trigger Graphics and Playlists through an Automated Game Plan
• Populate the Review Page with a full event timeline
• Feed the public-facing Match Centre
• Mark Moments used to create Highlights and Compilations
The more accurately events are captured, the richer the live broadcast and post-match content will be.
Tips
• Test your device and internet connection at the venue before kickoff
• Sign in to the LiveScore App ahead of time so the Match is ready to open
• Coordinate with the Gameday Operator so scoring and Graphics stay in sync
• Record events as close to real time as possible so Automated Game Plans trigger Graphics at the right moment
• Check the level of Data Coverage required for the Competition so you know which events to capture
Common Issues
• Match not appearing in the app: Confirm the Match has been created in LIGR Live and that your user account has the Live Scorer role with access to that Competition.
• Events not showing in the Control Room: Check your internet connection. Match Facts require a live connection to sync with LIGR Live.
• Wrong Players listed: Players are managed as Assets in LIGR Live. Ask an Admin to update the Team roster before the Match starts.
• Can't sign in: Make sure you are using the same credentials as your LIGR Live account and that your role has LiveScore App access.
