Recording corners and set pieces in the LiveScore App captures these Match Facts in real time, feeding them into your match data for use in stats, graphics, and the Review Page.

Before You Start

Make sure the following are in place before the match kicks off:

• You have Live Scorer access (or higher) for the organisation

• The match has been created and assigned to a Competition

• Both teams and their players are set up in the match

• You are signed in to the LiveScore App on your mobile device

• The match has a Data Coverage level that supports corners and set piece events

2. Find the match in your list of fixtures.

3. Tap the match to open it.

4. Confirm the lineups and kick off the match when play begins.

Recording a Corner

Once saved, the corner appears in the match timeline and is available to the Control Room for any overlays or playlists tied to corner events in your Game Plan.

Recording Other Set Pieces

Depending on the Data Coverage level of your match, you may be able to record additional set piece events such as free kicks, penalties, or goal kicks.

Free Kicks and Penalties

1. Tap the relevant set piece event button on the live match screen.

2. Select the team awarded the set piece.

3. If prompted, select the player taking the set piece.

4. Confirm to save the event.

Linking a Set Piece to a Goal

If a goal is scored directly from a set piece:

1. Record the goal as you normally would using the Goal event.

2. Select the scoring team and player.

3. Add any assist or additional context the app prompts for.

Editing or Deleting a Match Fact

If you record a set piece in error:

1. Open the match timeline in the LiveScore App.

2. Tap the event you want to change.

3. Choose Edit to update the details or Delete to remove it.

4. Confirm your change.

Edits sync back to the match data and update any dependent graphics in the Control Room.

Tips

• Record events as soon as they happen so the match timeline stays accurate for the Control Room operator.

• Keep your device connected to a stable network so Match Facts sync without delay.

• If your Game Plan includes corner-triggered graphics, double-check with the Control Room operator before the match that the correct overlays are wired up.

• Assign one scorer per match to avoid duplicate Match Facts being recorded.

Common Issues
