How to Use the Production Link

Written by Julian Rodrigues
Updated today

The Production Link is a unique URL that opens the Control Room for a specific Match, giving operators full access to trigger Overlays, manage Graphics, and run the live broadcast.

What the Production Link Does

The Production Link is generated for every Match you create in LIGR Live. Opening it loads the Control Room, where you can control what viewers see on the live stream.

From the Control Room, you can:

• Trigger and hide Overlays such as the Scorebug, lower thirds, and full-screen Graphics

• Run Playlists and Automated Game Plans

• Switch between Manual Mode and automated triggers

• Monitor the live output of the Match

The Production Link is different from the Monitoring Link. The Production Link gives control access, while the Monitoring Link is view-only.

Prerequisites

Before you can use a Production Link, make sure you have:

• A Competition set up in your Organisation

• A Match created under that Competition with two Teams assigned

• A Theme Instance applied to the Competition or Match

• A user account with permission to operate the Control Room (Owner, Admin, User, or Gameday Operator)

How to Find the Production Link

1. Log in to LIGR Live.

2. Navigate to the Match you want to operate.

3. Open the Match details page.

4. Locate the Production Link in the Match actions or links section.

5. Copy the link or click it to open the Control Room in a new tab.

Operating the Match

Once the Control Room is open, you can:

1. Choose between Manual Mode or let the Automated Game Plan run Graphics based on Match events.

2. Click individual Graphics to trigger them on the output.

3. Use Playlists to run a pre-set sequence of Graphics.

4. Adjust any Control Variables exposed by FUSE Graphics in real time.

5. Hide Graphics when they are no longer needed on the output.

Sharing the Production Link

If another operator needs to help run the Match, you can share the Production Link with them. Make sure they have the correct user role in your Organisation before sharing.

Tips

• Bookmark the Production Link for upcoming Matches so you can open them quickly on game day.

• Only one operator should trigger Graphics at a time to avoid conflicting commands.

• If you just need to watch the output without controlling anything, use the Monitoring Link instead.

• Open the Production Link in a modern browser (Chrome is recommended) for best performance.

Common Issues

The Production Link won't load Check your internet connection and make sure you are logged in to the correct Organisation. If the page stays blank, refresh the browser.

I can see the Control Room but can't trigger Graphics Your user role may not have Control Room permissions. Ask an Owner or Admin to check your role.

Graphics are not appearing on the stream Confirm that the Input from your encoder is connected and that the Match is linked to the correct stream. Also check that the Theme Instance has loaded correctly.

I opened the wrong link The Monitoring Link looks similar but does not let you trigger Graphics. Go back to the Match page and copy the Production Link instead.
