The Scorebug is the persistent graphic that displays the live score, match time, and team information during your broadcast, and the Control Room gives you the tools to fix any errors that appear on screen without disrupting the match.
When You Might Need to Correct the Scorebug
Even with an Automated Game Plan and a Live Scorer using the LiveScore App, mistakes can happen. Common situations where you'll need to correct the Scorebug include:
• A goal or score was recorded for the wrong team
• A Match Fact was entered in error and needs to be removed
• The match clock is ahead of or behind the actual match time
• Team names, logos, or colours are displaying incorrectly
• The Scorebug is showing the wrong period or half
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
• Access to the Control Room via the Production Link for the match
• Appropriate permissions (Gameday Operator, User, Admin, or Owner)
• Communication with the Live Scorer if they are using the LiveScore App

Correcting Score Errors
If the score on the Scorebug is wrong, the fix depends on how the score was entered.
If the Live Scorer Entered the Goal Incorrectly
1. Open the Control Room for the match.
2. Locate the Match Facts list or match event timeline.
3. Find the incorrect goal entry.
4. Delete or edit the Match Fact so the score updates correctly.
5. Confirm the Scorebug now shows the correct score on the live output.
If the Goal Was Assigned to the Wrong Team
1. In the Control Room, open the match event list.
2. Find the goal Match Fact that needs correcting.
3. Edit the event to reassign it to the correct team, or delete it and re-enter it for the right team.
4. Check the Scorebug preview to confirm the correction has applied.

Correcting the Match Clock
If the match clock on the Scorebug is out of sync with the real match time:
1. In the Control Room, find the match clock controls.
2. Pause the clock if needed.
3. Adjust the time to match the actual state of play.
4. Resume the clock when play restarts.
Correcting the Period or Half
1. Open the match controls in the Control Room.
2. Select the correct period or half.
3. Confirm that the Scorebug updates to reflect the change.
Correcting Team Information
If the Scorebug is showing incorrect team details (name, logo, or colours), this usually points to an issue with the Team, Club, or Theme Instance assigned to the match. During the match, you have limited options:
• Double-check that the correct Teams are assigned to the match
• If a logo or colour is wrong at the asset level, it will need to be corrected in the Team or Club settings — changes may not apply mid-match
• For urgent cosmetic issues, switching to Manual Mode can give you more control over which Graphics appear
Tips
• Keep the Monitoring Link open on a second screen so you can see exactly what viewers see while you make corrections.
• Coordinate with your Live Scorer in real time — it's often faster for them to delete an incorrect Match Fact in the LiveScore App than for you to chase it in the Control Room.
• If you're unsure whether a correction has taken effect, watch the Scorebug on the Monitoring Link rather than relying on the preview alone.
• For recurring issues (e.g., team logos loading incorrectly), fix them at the Asset level between matches so they don't reappear.
Common Issues
The score updated in the Control Room but not on the Scorebug. Give the Graphic a few seconds to refresh. If it still doesn't update, try toggling the Scorebug off and on again from the Control Room.
I deleted a Match Fact but the score is still wrong. Check that there isn't a second, duplicate Match Fact still in the event list. Duplicates are a common cause of score mismatches.
The match clock won't adjust. Make sure the clock is paused before trying to change the time. Some adjustments can only be made while the clock is stopped.
Changes to a Team logo aren't showing up mid-match. Asset-level changes don't always propagate to a match already in progress. You may need to finish the match with the current graphics and correct the asset for future matches.
I'm in an Automated Game Plan and a Graphic keeps triggering incorrectly. Switch to Manual Mode to stop automatic playout, then trigger Graphics manually for the rest of the match.
