The Scorebug is the persistent on-screen graphic that shows the live score, match time, and team information during a broadcast, and it can be updated directly from the Control Room or automatically via the LiveScore App.
Before You Start
Make sure the following are in place:
• A Match has been created under a Competition
• Both Teams are assigned to the Match
• A Theme Instance is applied so the Scorebug has a visual style
• You have access to the Control Room via the Production Link

Updating Scores from the Control Room
If you are operating in Manual Mode, or need to make a correction during an Automated Game Plan, you can update the score directly from the Control Room.
1. Open the Match's Production Link to launch the Control Room.
2. Locate the Scorebug section in the Control Room panel.
3. Find the score controls for the Home Team and Away Team.
4. Use the plus (+) button to increase a team's score, or the minus (−) button to decrease it.
5. The Scorebug updates in real time on the live output.
Adjusting the Match Clock
The Scorebug also displays match time. From the Scorebug controls you can:
• Start the clock at the beginning of a period
• Pause or resume the clock as needed
• Reset or adjust the time if a correction is required

Updating Scores via the LiveScore App
When a Live Scorer is recording Match Facts from the LiveScore App, the Scorebug updates automatically.
1. The Live Scorer records a goal or scoring event in the LiveScore App.
2. The Match Fact is sent to LIGR Live.
3. The Scorebug on the live output reflects the new score without operator input.
4. If the Match is running on an Automated Game Plan, any linked Playlist (such as a goal celebration graphic) will also trigger.
Showing or Hiding the Scorebug
You can toggle the Scorebug on and off from the Control Room at any time.
1. In the Control Room, find the Scorebug in the list of available Overlays.
2. Click the toggle or IN/OUT control to bring the Scorebug on-screen or take it off.
3. Use this to hide the Scorebug during full-screen Graphics or replays.
Tips
• Double-check which team is listed as Home and which as Away before the Match starts — this controls the Scorebug layout.
• Use the LiveScore App whenever possible so scores, cards, and substitutions are captured consistently across the Scorebug, Match Centre, and Review Page.
• If you need to correct a score after a mistaken tap in the LiveScore App, adjust it directly from the Control Room Scorebug controls.
• Keep the Monitoring Link open on a second screen so you can confirm Scorebug updates are reaching the live output.
