Adjusting the match clock on the Scorebug lets you correct the displayed time, start or stop the clock, and keep the on-screen timing aligned with what's happening on the field.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
• A Match created under a Competition
• Access to the Control Room via a Production Link
• A Scorebug assigned to the match through the Theme Instance

Opening the Scorebug Clock Controls
The match clock is managed directly from the Control Room, where the Scorebug is displayed and controlled in real time.
1. Open the Production Link for your match to launch the Control Room.
2. Locate the Scorebug controls panel, usually shown at the top of the Control Room.
3. You will see the current clock value along with controls to start, stop, and adjust the time.
Starting and Stopping the Clock
Starting the Clock
1. In the Scorebug controls, select the start button to begin the clock.
2. The clock will begin counting from its current value and update live on the Scorebug overlay.
Stopping the Clock
1. Select the stop button in the Scorebug controls to pause the clock.
2. The Scorebug will freeze at the current time until you resume or adjust it.

Adjusting the Clock Time
If the match clock drifts out of sync with the actual match, you can set it manually.
1. Stop the clock before making adjustments.
2. Select the clock value in the Scorebug controls to open the time editor.
3. Enter the correct minutes and seconds.
4. Confirm the change to push the new time to the Scorebug overlay.
5. Start the clock again when you're ready to resume.
Changing Match Periods
Most sports use period changes (for example, half-time or quarter breaks) that reset or pause the clock.
1. Use the period controls within the Scorebug panel to move to the next period.
2. The clock will update according to the rules set for that Competition's Theme Instance.
3. Start the clock again at the beginning of the new period.
Tips
• Always stop the clock before editing the time to avoid overwriting your change mid-count.
• If you're running an Automated Game Plan, the clock may trigger graphics and playlists, so keep it accurate to avoid early or late cues.
• Use the Monitoring Link on a second screen or device to confirm the Scorebug is displaying the correct time to viewers.
• If you're operating in Manual Mode, remember that the clock still needs to be started and stopped by you — it will not advance automatically based on match events.
Common Issues
• The clock is not visible on the Scorebug: Check that the Scorebug overlay is active in the Control Room and that your Theme Instance includes a Scorebug with a clock element.
• The clock time does not match the field: Stop the clock and manually enter the correct time, then resume.
• The clock will not start: Confirm the match has been started in the Control Room and that no period transition is blocking the clock.
• Clock changes are not reflected on the stream: Check your Input and Destination connections in the Streaming tab to confirm the overlay is being delivered to the live feed.
