Streaming to Facebook Live in LIGR Live lets you send your match output, complete with overlays and graphics, directly to a Facebook page or profile as a Destination.
Before You Start
Before configuring a Facebook Live Destination, make sure you have:
• A match created in LIGR Live with an Input configured from your encoder (OBS, vMix, or hardware)
• Access to the Facebook page or profile you want to stream to
• Permission to create live streams on that Facebook page
• Your Theme Instance and overlays set up for the match
Setting Up Facebook Live as a Destination
You configure Facebook Live as a Destination from the match's Stream View page.
Step 1: Open the Match Stream View
1. Go to the Matches tab in the left sidebar.
2. Select the match you want to stream.
3. Open the Stream View page for that match.

Step 3: Connect to Facebook
You have two ways to send your stream to Facebook:
• Direct Facebook Live integration — Authenticate with Facebook and choose the page or profile to stream to.
• RTMP endpoint — Paste the Stream URL and Stream Key from Facebook's Live Producer into the RTMP fields in LIGR.
If you are using the RTMP method:
1. In Facebook Live Producer, create a new live stream and copy the Server URL and Stream Key.
2. Paste these into the RTMP fields for your new Destination in LIGR Live.
3. Save the Destination.

Step 4: Start the Stream
1. Confirm your Input is active and healthy in the Stream View.
2. Confirm your Destination is listed and ready.
3. Start the stream from LIGR Live.
4. In Facebook Live Producer, confirm the preview is receiving video, then click Go Live.
Monitoring the Stream
Once live, you can monitor stream health from:
• The Stream View for the individual match
• The Streaming tab in the left sidebar for Multiview monitoring across multiple streams
Check bitrate, connection status, and preview output to confirm the stream is stable.
Tips
• Test your full setup with a private or unlisted Facebook Live stream before going public.
• Facebook has specific bitrate and resolution recommendations — match these in your encoder settings for best results.
• If you stream to multiple destinations, add each one as a separate Destination in the Stream View rather than reconfiguring between matches.
• Keep your Facebook Stream Key private. Anyone with it can push video to your Facebook Live session.
Common Issues
Stream not appearing on Facebook
• Verify the Server URL and Stream Key were copied correctly with no extra spaces.
• Check that your Input is active in the Stream View before starting the Destination.
Stream disconnects or buffers
• Check bitrate in the Stream View and reduce it in your encoder if needed.
• Confirm your encoder's upload connection is stable.
Graphics not showing in the Facebook broadcast
• Confirm overlays are being triggered in the Control Room.
• Verify you are streaming the LIGR output (with overlays burned in), not the raw encoder feed.
Facebook Stream Key expired
• Facebook Stream Keys can be single-use. Generate a new key in Facebook Live Producer and update the Destination in LIGR Live.
