Stream Settings control how video enters LIGR Live from your encoder and where it gets sent out to viewers, giving you full control over Inputs, Destinations, and how your Stream behaves during a match.
What Stream Settings Cover
Stream Settings are configured per match and determine how your live video is received, monitored, and distributed. They sit alongside your overlay and Game Plan configuration in the match setup.
Stream Settings typically include:
• Inputs — the video source coming into LIGR from an encoder like OBS, vMix, or a hardware encoder
• Destinations — where the stream is sent, such as YouTube Live, Facebook Live, or a custom RTMP endpoint
• Protocol options — RTMP for encoder-to-LIGR delivery, or NDI for local network workflows
• Monitoring — tools like Multiview to keep an eye on the stream while it's live

Accessing Stream Settings
You can reach Stream Settings from the match you want to configure.
1. Click the Matches tab in the left sidebar.
2. Select the match you want to configure.
3. Open the Stream View page for that match.
4. Locate the Stream Settings area to configure your Input and Destinations.
Configuring Your Input
The Input is the video feed your encoder sends to LIGR Live.
1. In Stream Settings, find the Input section.
2. Copy the RTMP URL and stream key provided by LIGR.
3. Paste these into your encoder (OBS, vMix, or a hardware encoder).
4. Start your encoder to begin sending video to LIGR.
5. Confirm the Input is receiving video before going live.

Using NDI as an Input Source
If you're working on a local network, NDI can be used to move video between LIGR and production software without needing an RTMP encoder. NDI is particularly useful when you want to bring LIGR graphics into tools like vMix.
Configuring Destinations
Destinations define where your final stream, with overlays applied, is delivered.
1. In Stream Settings, open the Destinations section.
2. Add a new Destination.
3. Choose the type of Destination — YouTube Live, Facebook Live, or a custom RTMP endpoint.
4. Enter the RTMP URL and stream key from the destination platform.
5. Save the Destination.
6. Repeat to add multiple Destinations if you want to stream to more than one platform simultaneously.

Monitoring Your Stream
Once your Input and Destinations are set, you can monitor the stream to make sure everything is working.
• Use Multiview from the Streaming tab to watch several streams at once.
• Open the Stream View page for a single match to check stream health, bitrate, and status.
• Share the Monitoring Link with anyone who needs to view the output without Control Room access.
Tips
• Test your Input and Destinations before match day by running a short stream to confirm everything is connected.
• Keep your encoder's bitrate stable and within the recommended range for your Destination platforms.
• Use the Monitoring Link to give producers or clients a view of the stream without giving them Control Room permissions.
• If you're streaming to multiple Destinations, make sure your upload bandwidth can handle the combined load.
Common Issues
• Input not receiving video: Double-check the RTMP URL and stream key in your encoder match what LIGR provides, and confirm your encoder is actually running.
• Destination rejecting the stream: Verify the RTMP URL and stream key from the destination platform (YouTube, Facebook, etc.) are current and correctly pasted.
• NDI source not appearing: Ensure LIGR and your production software are on the same network and that NDI discovery is enabled. See the vMix NDI troubleshooting article for more detail.
• Stream drops mid-match: Check your encoder's network connection and bitrate settings, then restart the Input if needed.
