Assigning a Live Scorer to a match gives a specific user access to record Match Facts — such as goals, cards, corners, and substitutions — through the LiveScore App during that match.
Overview
In LIGR Live, a Live Scorer is a permission level that only grants access to the LiveScore App at https://score.ligr.live/login. Live Scorers cannot access the main LIGR Live dashboard, the Control Room, or any other assets. This makes the role ideal for sideline scorers, volunteers, or team staff who only need to capture live match events.
Before a Live Scorer can record events for a match, two things need to be in place:
• The user must exist in your Organisation with the Live Scorer role
• The user must be assigned to the specific match you want them to score
Prerequisites
Before you start, make sure you have:
• An existing Match created under a Competition with two Teams
• Owner or Admin permissions in your Organisation (required to invite users and assign roles)
• The email address of the person you want to add as a Live Scorer
Step 1: Add the Live Scorer to Your Organisation
If the user is not already part of your Organisation, you need to invite them first.
1. Go to the Profile & Account section from the left sidebar.
2. Open the Users area.
3. Click to invite a new user and enter their email address.
4. Set their role to Live Scorer.
5. Send the invitation.
The user will receive an email invitation to join your Organisation with Live Scorer access only.

Step 2: Open the Match
1. Click the Matches tab in the left sidebar.
2. Find the match you want to assign a Live Scorer to.
3. Open the match to access its settings.
Step 3: Assign the Live Scorer to the Match
Within the match settings, assign the Live Scorer so they can access this specific match in the LiveScore App.
1. Open the match settings area.
2. Locate the option to assign a Live Scorer to the match.
3. Select the user you added in Step 1 from the list.
4. Save your changes.

Step 4: Confirm Access in the LiveScore App
Ask the assigned Live Scorer to:
1. Go to https://score.ligr.live/login in a web browser (mobile or desktop).
2. Log in with the email and password for their LIGR Live account.
3. Open the match from their list of available matches.
4. Confirm they can see the teams, lineups, and Match Facts controls.
Tips
• The LiveScore App runs in a browser — it is not downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. A mobile browser works well for sideline scoring.
• A single Live Scorer can be assigned to multiple matches over time. You only need to invite them to your Organisation once.
• For reliable live scoring, make sure the scorer has a stable mobile data or Wi-Fi connection at the venue.
• Test the LiveScore App with your scorer before match day, especially if this is their first time using it.
Common Issues
The Live Scorer can't see the match in the LiveScore App
• Confirm the match has been assigned to them in the match settings.
• Confirm they are logged in with the correct email address.
The user was invited but hasn't received the email
• Check their spam or junk folder.
• Re-send the invitation from the Users page in Profile & Account.
The Live Scorer is trying to log in to the main dashboard
• Live Scorers can only access the LiveScore App at https://score.ligr.live/login. They will not be able to log in to the main LIGR Live dashboard.
Match Facts aren't appearing on the overlays
• Confirm the match is live and that the Control Room is running.
• Confirm your Automated Game Plan or Manual Mode is set up to trigger graphics from the relevant Match Facts.
