Configuring match streams in LIGR Live connects your video source to a match so your overlays, scorebug, and graphics render on top of your live broadcast.
Before You Start
Before configuring streams for a match, make sure you have:
• A Competition created under the Assets tab
• Two Teams assigned to the match
• An encoder ready (such as OBS, vMix, or a hardware encoder)
• The match itself created under the Matches section
Accessing Stream Settings for a Match
1. Click the Matches tab in the left sidebar.
2. Select the match you want to configure from the matches list.
3. Open the stream configuration area within the match settings.

Setting Up Your Input
The Input is the video source sent from your encoder into LIGR Live.
1. Open the Input section of your match.
2. Copy the RTMP URL and stream key provided by LIGR.
3. Paste these into your encoder (OBS, vMix, or hardware encoder).
4. Start sending the feed from your encoder to LIGR.
5. Confirm the Input is active in LIGR before going live.

Checking Input Status
Once your encoder is pushing a feed, the Input status should update to show it is receiving video. If it doesn't appear active, double-check that the RTMP URL and stream key match exactly what's shown in LIGR.
Adding Destinations
A Destination is where LIGR sends your final stream, with overlays and graphics rendered on top.
1. In the match stream settings, locate the Destinations section.
2. Add a new Destination.
3. Choose the type of Destination you need:
• YouTube Live
• Facebook Live
• A custom RTMP endpoint
1. Enter the required details for that Destination (such as RTMP URL and stream key from your streaming platform).
2. Save the Destination.
You can add multiple Destinations to a single match if you need to stream to more than one platform at the same time.

Monitoring Your Stream
Once your Input is live and Destinations are configured, you can monitor the output:
• Use the Monitoring Link to view the graphics output without control access.
• Use the Production Link to open the Control Room where operators manage overlays during the match.
• Use Multiview if you need to monitor multiple streams at the same time.
Tips
• Test your Input and Destinations before the match starts. A dry run avoids last-minute issues at kickoff.
• Keep your encoder settings aligned with the bitrate and resolution recommended for your Destinations.
• Share the Monitoring Link with stakeholders who want to watch the broadcast output but shouldn't control overlays.
• Save your RTMP details somewhere secure so you can reconnect quickly if your encoder drops.
Common Issues
Input not showing as active Check that the RTMP URL and stream key in your encoder match exactly what LIGR provides. Also confirm your encoder is actually running and pushing a feed.
Destination not receiving the stream Verify the RTMP URL and stream key from your streaming platform (YouTube, Facebook, etc.) are entered correctly in LIGR. Some platforms also require the stream to be scheduled or started on their side before they accept the feed.
Graphics not appearing on the output Make sure the match has a Theme Instance assigned and that the Control Room is open and configured. Stream Inputs alone don't render graphics — they need to flow through LIGR's overlay pipeline.
Stream drops mid-match Reconnect your encoder using the same RTMP URL and stream key. LIGR will usually resume the Input without needing to recreate the match.
