Connect vMix to LIGR Live as an Input so you can send your live video feed into the platform for streaming and graphics production.
Overview
vMix is a common software encoder used to produce and send live video to LIGR Live. Once connected as an Input, your vMix feed becomes available in the Control Room and can be sent to Destinations such as YouTube Live, Facebook Live, or custom RTMP endpoints.
This guide covers:
• Preparing vMix for use with LIGR Live
• Creating an Input in LIGR Live
• Connecting vMix via RTMP
• Using NDI to bring LIGR graphics back into vMix

Bringing LIGR Graphics Back into vMix via NDI
If you want to composite LIGR graphics inside vMix instead of outputting them directly from LIGR, you can use NDI.
1. In LIGR Live, enable NDI output for your Match graphics.
2. In vMix, click Add Input and choose NDI / Desktop Capture.
3. Select the LIGR NDI source from the list.
4. Add the NDI source as an overlay channel in vMix so your graphics sit on top of your program feed.
Tips
• Use a wired ethernet connection on your vMix machine for the most stable Input.
• Test your vMix-to-LIGR connection well before match kick-off.
• Keep vMix and LIGR open on separate monitors so you can monitor both.
• Match your vMix output resolution and frame rate to your intended stream settings.
Common Issues
• Input not showing as connected: Double-check the RTMP URL and Stream Key were pasted correctly with no extra spaces.
• Dropped frames in vMix: Lower your streaming bitrate or check your upload bandwidth.
• NDI source not appearing in vMix: Ensure both machines are on the same network and that NDI output is enabled in LIGR Live.
• Audio out of sync: Adjust audio delay settings in vMix to align with your video feed.
