Creating a Match in LIGR Live sets up a single fixture between two teams so you can stream it, run overlays, and capture live events.
Before You Start
Before you can create a Match, you need to have the right Assets in place. At minimum, you need:
• One Competition
• Two Teams (assigned to that Competition)
• A Venue (optional but recommended)
• Players on each team roster (if you want lineups in your graphics)
If you haven't set these up yet, head to the Assets tab first and create them there.

Creating a New Match
Follow these steps to create your Match.
1. Click the Matches tab in the left sidebar.
2. Click the Create Match button (usually in the top right of the Matches list).
3. Select the Competition the Match belongs to. This determines which Theme Instance and Game Plan will apply.
4. Choose the Home Team and Away Team from the Teams assigned to that Competition.
5. Set the Match date and time (kick-off time).
6. Select a Venue if applicable.
7. Save the Match to add it to your Matches list.

Configuring Match Settings
Once the Match is created, open it from the Matches list to configure the details that control how it runs.
Teams and Lineups
Review the team lineups pulled from your Player rosters. You can adjust starters, substitutes, and jersey numbers for this specific Match without changing the base Team roster.
Overlay Settings
In the Match, you can:
• Confirm the Theme Instance being used
• Review the Game Plan (Automated Game Plan or Manual Mode)
• Check any Ad Sets allocated to the Competition or Teams
Streaming Setup
If you are streaming through LIGR, configure your Input and Destination from within the Match. This is where you connect your encoder (OBS, vMix, or hardware) and set where the Stream is sent (YouTube Live, Facebook Live, or an RTMP endpoint).

Accessing the Match
Once your Match is set up, you'll get access to:
• Production Link — opens the Control Room for overlay control during the Match
• Monitoring Link — a view-only URL for monitoring graphics output
• LiveScore App link — for your Live Scorer to record Match Facts from their mobile or browser
• Match Centre — the public-facing page with live data and events
• Review Page — available after the Match for stats, events, and recordings
Tips
• Create your Match well in advance of kick-off so you have time to test overlays and streaming.
• Double-check the Competition you select — it controls which Theme Instance and Game Plan apply, and this can't be swapped easily after creation.
• If you're using a Live Scorer, share the LiveScore App link with them before the Match starts so they can log in and test.
• Confirm your Input is connected and your Destination is ready before going live.
Common Issues
• Teams don't appear in the dropdown: Make sure the Teams are assigned to the Competition you selected. Go to the Competition in Assets and add the Teams.
• No Theme or graphics showing: Check that the Competition has a Theme Instance configured under the Themes tab.
• Players missing from lineups: Add Players to the Team roster in the Assets tab, then return to the Match to refresh the lineup.
• Can't find the Create Match button: Your user role may not have permission. Owners, Admins, and Gameday Operators can create Matches; Live Scorers and Media Viewers cannot.
