Deleting or archiving a Match in LIGR Live lets you remove unwanted fixtures from your active schedule or hide completed Matches without losing their data.
When to Delete vs. Archive a Match
Before removing a Match, decide which action fits your situation:
• Delete a Match — Use this when a Match was created in error, was a test, or will never be played. Deletion is permanent and removes the Match along with its associated data.
• Archive a Match — Use this when a Match has been played or cancelled and you want to keep its data (events, recordings, stats) for reference but remove it from your active Matches list.
Prerequisites
Before you can delete or archive a Match, make sure you have:
• An Owner, Admin, or User role with permission to manage Matches
• The Match already created within a Competition

Archiving a Match

1. Open the Matches tab.
2. Find the Match you want to archive.
3. Open the Match details or actions menu.
4. Select the Archive option.
5. Confirm the action.

Archived Matches remain accessible for review, including their Match Facts, recordings, Highlights, and Review Page.
Tips
• If you only want to hide a test Match temporarily, archive it instead of deleting it — you can always reference the data later.
• Before deleting, check whether the Match has any linked recordings, Highlights, or Compilations you want to keep.
• Deleting a Match does not delete the Competition, Teams, or Players associated with it. Those Assets remain available for future Matches.
• If you have multiple test Matches, archive or delete them in batches to keep your Matches list clean.
