Ad Sets in LIGR Live require sponsor artwork to be uploaded in seven specific image sizes so that ads display correctly across every graphic and overlay position during a match.
Ad Sets are part of the Ad Allocation system, which is used by organisations on inbuilt themes. If your organisation uses Rive themes, ads are configured directly within Automated Game Plan playlists rather than through Ad Sets, so this article will not apply to your setup. Check which theme type is assigned to your competition overlays to confirm which system you are working with.
Why Multiple Sizes Are Required
Sponsor content appears in different places during a broadcast: inside in-graphic positions, alongside lower thirds, as full-screen takeovers, and within sponsor loops between graphics. Each of these positions has a different shape and resolution requirement.
To make sure your sponsor looks sharp and correctly proportioned everywhere it appears, LIGR Live requires you to upload a version of the sponsor's artwork sized for each placement. An Ad Set is only complete, and available to use in an Automated Game Plan, once all seven image sizes have been uploaded.

The Seven Image Sizes
When you create an Ad Set, you will see seven upload slots. Each slot corresponds to a specific type of placement in your broadcast graphics:
• In-graphic ad sizes: designed to appear within existing overlays such as lower thirds and stat graphics. They are typically smaller and sit alongside live match data.
• Detached ad sizes: standalone sponsor graphics that play on their own, often as part of a Sponsor Loop or triggered between match events.
• Full-screen ad size: a larger image used for full-screen sponsor takeovers, such as pre-match, half-time, or post-match sponsor moments.
Each slot in the Ad Set interface shows the exact pixel dimensions required for that image.

Uploading Images to an Ad Set
1. Go to the Ads section in the main navigation.
2. Open the Ad Sets tab.
3. Create a new Ad Set or open an existing one.
4. For each of the seven size slots, click the upload area and select the correctly sized image from your computer.
5. Save the Ad Set once all seven images are uploaded.
The Ad Set will not be available for allocation to a competition, club, or team until every slot contains an image.
Preparing Your Sponsor Artwork
Before uploading, prepare your sponsor logo or artwork in each of the seven required sizes. You can do this in any design tool. Keep these points in mind:
• Match the exact pixel dimensions shown in each slot.
• Use transparent backgrounds (PNG) where the ad needs to sit within a graphic.
• Keep the sponsor logo centred and leave some padding around the edges for smaller sizes.
• Check that the artwork is still legible at the smallest in-graphic sizes.
Tips
• Ask your sponsor for a high-resolution master logo, then export it at each of the seven sizes from a single source file.
• Name your files clearly (for example, "SponsorName-ingraphic.png") so you can identify each size quickly during upload.
• Preview your Ad Set on a test match before going live to confirm the artwork looks correct in every position.
• If the same sponsor is used across multiple competitions, you only need to build the Ad Set once and allocate it where needed.
Common Issues
• Ad Set will not save or allocate: this usually means one or more of the seven image slots is empty. Check that every slot has an image uploaded.
• Image looks stretched or pixelated: the uploaded image does not match the required pixel dimensions for that slot. Re-export the artwork at the correct size and re-upload.
• Sponsor logo is cut off in-graphic: the artwork has no padding, or the logo extends to the edges of the file. Add padding around the logo and re-upload.
• Uploaded image is rejected: confirm the file format is supported (typically PNG or JPG) and that the file size is within limits.
