Uploading Sponsor Images to an Ad Set

Written by Julian Rodrigues

Uploading sponsor images to an Ad Set lets you add all the creative assets for a single sponsor into LIGR Live so they can appear in your broadcast graphics during a match.

What Is an Ad Set?

An Ad Set is a collection of seven differently sized images for a single sponsor. All seven sizes must be uploaded before the Ad Set can be used.

Once complete, an Ad Set can be used in either of LIGR Live's advertising systems:

• For organisations using inbuilt themes: Ad Sets are allocated to a Competition, Club, or Team, and the system handles rotation automatically.

• For organisations using Rive themes: Ad Sets are referenced directly in Automated Game Plan playlists.

Each of the seven sizes corresponds to a different graphic placement in your broadcast, such as in-graphic sponsor slots or detached full-screen sponsor graphics.

Prerequisites

Before you start, make sure you have:

• An Ad Set already created in the Ads section under the Ad Sets tab

• All seven sponsor images prepared in the correct dimensions

• Owner, Admin, or User permissions for your organisation

How to Upload Sponsor Images

1. Go to the Ads section from the main navigation.

2. Open the Ad Sets tab.

3. Click on the Ad Set you want to upload images into, or create a new one.

4. You will see seven image slots, each labelled with the required size.

5. Click into the first image slot and select the matching image from your device.

6. Repeat for each of the seven slots until all sizes are filled.

7. Save the Ad Set.

Image Sizes to Prepare

Each slot expects an image at a specific size. Make sure each file you upload matches the size shown on the slot so the sponsor displays correctly across all graphic placements.

• In-graphic sponsor sizes (for placements inside smaller broadcast graphics and lower thirds)

• Detached ad sizes (for full-screen or standalone sponsor graphics)

Tips

• Prepare all seven images in advance so you can upload them in one session.

• Use high-quality source files to avoid pixelation on larger graphic placements.

• Name your files clearly so you can match each file to the correct slot.

• Only Ad Sets with all seven sizes uploaded can be allocated or referenced in playlists.

Common Issues

• Ad Set not appearing in allocation options or playlist selection: Check that all seven image slots are filled. Incomplete Ad Sets cannot be used.

• Image looks stretched or cropped: The uploaded file does not match the required dimensions for that slot. Re-export the image at the exact size and re-upload.

• Sponsor does not appear during a match: If you are using inbuilt themes, confirm the Ad Set has been allocated to the Competition, Club, or Team. If you are using Rive themes, confirm the Ad Set is referenced in the relevant Automated Game Plan playlist.

• Upload fails: Check your file format and size. Very large files may need to be compressed before uploading.
