This guide helps you identify why a match recording may be missing from LIGR Live and what steps to take to recover or prevent the issue.
Overview
Match recordings are automatically captured when a Stream is sent to LIGR during a Match. If a recording is missing from the Match Review Page or the Multimedia section, it usually points to an issue with the Input, the Match setup, or the stream itself.
This guide covers:
• How to check whether a recording exists
• Common reasons recordings go missing
• Steps to diagnose and resolve the issue
Prerequisites
Before troubleshooting, make sure you have:
• Owner, Admin, or User access to the Organisation
• Access to the Match in question
• Knowledge of the encoder (OBS, vMix, or hardware) used for the Match
Where to Look for a Match Recording
Recordings should appear in two places once a Match has ended:
1. Open the Match from your Matches list.
2. Go to the Review Page for that Match.
3. Check the Multimedia section for the full Match recording, Moments, and any Highlights or Compilations.

If the recording is not present in either location, continue with the checks below.
Common Reasons a Recording Is Missing
1. No Stream Was Sent to LIGR
A Match recording only exists if a live video Stream was actually received by LIGR during the Match.
Check:
• Was an Input configured for the Match?
• Did your encoder successfully connect via RTMP or NDI?
• Was the Stream running for the full duration of the Match?
If the encoder was not pushing to LIGR, no recording will exist.
2. The Input Was Not Linked to the Match
If the Stream was sent to LIGR but not linked to the correct Match, the recording will not attach to that Match's Review Page.
1. Open the Streaming tab.
2. Check the Input that was used on the day.
3. Confirm it was assigned to the correct Match.

3. The Match Was Not Started Correctly
Recordings are tied to Match state. If the Match was never started or ended in the Control Room or LiveScore App, the recording window may not have captured correctly.
Check:
• Was the Match started in the Control Room or LiveScore App?
• Was the Match ended properly after the final whistle?
4. Stream Dropped During the Match
If the encoder disconnected and reconnected mid-Match, the recording may be split or incomplete.
1. Open the Review Page.
2. Look for partial recordings or multiple clips.
3. Check your encoder logs for dropouts.
5. Processing Delay
Recordings are not always available immediately after a Match ends. Processing can take time depending on Match length.
• Wait 15–30 minutes after Match end and refresh the Review Page.
• For long Matches, processing may take longer.
Steps to Diagnose a Missing Recording
1. Open the Match and go to the Review Page.
2. Confirm the Match has an end time and is marked as complete.
3. Go to the Streaming tab and check which Input was used.
4. Verify the Input was linked to this Match.
5. Check your encoder for logs showing a successful connection during the Match window.
6. Review any Match Facts captured in the LiveScore App to confirm the Match was live.
7. If all checks pass and the recording is still missing, contact LIGR support with the Match name, date, and Organisation.

Tips
• Always test your encoder connection to the Input before the Match starts.
• Use the Monitoring Link during the Match to confirm the Stream is live and reaching LIGR.
• Start the Match in the Control Room or LiveScore App as soon as play begins so the recording window aligns with Match events.
• Keep your encoder running until after the Match is ended in LIGR to ensure the full recording is captured.
Common Issues
• Recording shows but playback fails: Refresh the page and wait for processing to finish.
• Recording is shorter than expected: The encoder likely stopped before the Match ended.
• Wrong Match has the recording: The Input was linked to the wrong Match. Contact support to reassign.
• No Moments or Highlights generated: Moments rely on Match Facts from the LiveScore App. If no events were recorded, Highlights cannot be auto-generated.
• Recording missing entirely: No Stream was received, or the Match was never started in LIGR.
